- Daughter's name is Fedora which means Divine Gift.
- Played 2 years of College basketball, until realizing his true passion for acting.
- A part of the original Coldstone creamery crew on 42nd street in 2003, who appeared on NBC's good morning America. This is where he made up the now famous Cold Stone Creamery tip song, "Cold stone, Cold stone can't you see/sometime your ice-cream hypnotize me/and I just love your cheesecake/ this is why I come here everyday"-based off the late Notorious B.I.G's hit "Hypnotize".
- Was chosen out of more than 500 people to perform his Spoken Word as an opening act for music duo Nina Sky at the world Famous Apollo Theater.
- First real on set experience after high school, was working that whole summer as background for HBO's hit prison show "Oz".
- First audition ever was at age 15 for the Sean Connery movie Finding Forrester in Manhattan NY. This is where he says he caught the "Acting bug". A few months later he went on to study at Ward studio in downtown Manhattan.
- At age 10 had his own act of impersonating Arsenio Hall, performing on NYC Trains for fun and money along with a bunch of neighborhood kids, something locally known as "Going Booging". But fate would have it, that on the day he couldn't go, he would missed the opportunity to perform his act, for the then casting director of Robert Townsend's movie The Meteor Man, where about 5 of his local friends were cast in the film that same day.
- Senior year of high school, was the Captain of his varsity basketball team, CHSSA All-Star and received the Sportsmanship of The Year award.
- Is a distant-distant relative of Ty Cobb.
- Is of Jamaican descent on his father's side.
- Is eligible for British citizenship through his father who was born in London, England.
- Performing in a production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar Directed by Andrew McCarty of PNR Productions @ Stage 52 in Los Angeles, California. (May 2007)
