Ashique Mostafa

Ashique Mostafa is a poet, visual artist and an experimental filmmaker who often finds innovative ways of making films. He makes films as handy as possible, and uses the camera like writing with a pen. His 16mm cult classic "Phulkumar" created the opportunity for a large group of young minds to actively participate in filmmaking in Bangladesh. Ashique graduated from the School of Visual Arts, New York, with a bachelor's degree in filmmaking. He lives partly in the USA and partly in Bangladesh.
