- Boris Abramovich Larin (pseudonym, real surname Epstein) is Soviet children's writer, screenwriter and poet. The author of humorous and satirical poems, as well as scripts of popular films and cartoons, including the dilogy Junior and Karlson (1968) and Karlson Returns (1970). In 1978 Boris Larin was awarded the Golden Calf Award of the Literary Newspaper (Club of 12 Chairs). Member of the Union of Writers of the USSR.
