Kerry Katona has admitted that she once didn’t go on a cruise after watching Titanic.
The ex-Atomic Kitten had apparently spent £14,000 on the holiday, but decided not to go after she watched the film based on the real-life disaster.
While hosting her BBC Sounds podcast Wheel of Misfortune, Katona told the story while discussing holiday horrors with guest Danielle Lloyd and callers.
The singer admitted that she’d already been frightened of the sea, but lost her nerve the night before after watching the film.
“I paid £14,000 once to go on a cruise right,” she began.
“The day before, s*** myself because I don’t like the ocean, didn’t go and I lost all my money,” she explained.
“I think I’d just watched Titanic,” she admitted.

Sam Smith has changed the lyrics to their hit song “Stay With Me” in honour of a federal law signing, which recognises same sex and interracial marriages in the US.
The 30-year-old singer was performing at the White House on Tuesday (13 December), after being invited by Biden to celebrate the progressive change to laws.
The Respect for Marriage Act applies to same sex and interracial couples in the US, and protects their rights as couples by officially recognising their marriage.
During the performance, Smith sung “Stay With Me” and altered the usual lyrics of “This ain’t love it’s clear to see,” to “This is love it’s clear to see,” to mark the occasion.
“My deepest thanks to President Biden and First Lady Dr Jill Biden for inviting me to perform at the White House, it was a true honour,” wrote the singer in an Instagram post following the event.

The Exploited frontman Wattie Buchan collapsed on stage with a suspected heart attack mid-way through performing a show.
Buchan was playing a show in Bogota, Columbia on Saturday (10 December) with the band when he clutched his chest and fell down.
This would mark the second time the Scottish punk band’s frontman has suffered a heart attack on stage.
Back in 2014, the 65-year-old had a heart attack while performing a show in Lisbon, NME reports.
Since the recent collapse, the singer has been ordered to rest in a local hotel before returning to the UK, with the band forced to cancel the remaining dates on their tour.
“He tried playing on but had to actually stop a couple of songs until he eventually collapsed,” said the band’s spokesperson to Stv News, that he’d had a suspected heart attack.

Kate Hudson is a band-aid no more – it’s time to actually join the band. The 43-year-old actor has just revealed that she’s going to be releasing her first ever album next year.
Back in 2000, Hudson got her breakthrough role aged 19 as the precocious Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe’s cult classic, Almost Famous, earning a Golden Globe in the process.
Now, she’s reunited with co-star Jimmy Fallon, who appeared as slimy band manager Dennis Hope, to talk about her plans to start a music career of her own.
Speaking on The Tonight Show on Monday (12 December), Hudson said that she’d been inspired to record music during the pandemic while having a bit of a Yolo moment.
Apparently she’s been singing since she was a teenager, but had never dared to officially “share” anything, until now.

Azealia Banks, who is currently on tour in Australia, has vowed she will never return to perform in the country again.
The singer and rapper cancelled her Tuesday 13 December show in Brisbane hours before she was due to appear on stage, saying in an Instagram video that a past gig in the city was “the most racist, most demoralising experience of my f***ing life”.
Banks had been set to perform in both Brisbane and Melbourne earlier this week, but both concerts were postponed due to “visa issues”. She performed in Sydney on Sunday night (11 December) and her Melbourne show has been rescheduled for this Saturday (17 December).
“I’m so sorry you guys – actually I’m not sorry – but listen: last time I was in Brisbane and y’all threw s*** on the stage and damn near almost f***ing hit me in the face with a f***ing bottle...

A mysterious R Kelly album was released and swiftly deleted by Spotify and Apple Music on Friday (9 December).
A 13-title album entitled I Admit It appeared on the platforms while the disgraced R&b artist remains behind bars serving a 30-year sentence for sexual misconduct-related charges.
Legacy Recordings, Sony Music’s catalogue division, was credited on the album, however, Sony representatives have told Variety that the album was a bootleg.
“This content has been removed from the platform at the request of the distributor,” a representative for Spotify told Variety.
Jennifer Bonjean, Kelly’s attorney, also told the publication that the singer’s camp is not behind the release and that he “is having intellectual property stolen from him”.
The singer was dropped by Sony after the famous 2019 documentary series Surviving R Kelly shone a light on the multiple sexual abuse allegations the singer faced.

Den Of Geek raises a glass to some lesser-known soap star pop singles, from Coronation Street to Neighbours and more...
“Do you remember the guy who played that guy in that thing? His song was good wasn't it?”
The above is an example of a conversation regularly heard in our house. The only variants are that sometimes it was 'that girl from that thing', and a lot of the time the song was far from good.
Well sod it – I think we as a nation need to have more discussions about Craig McLachlan and Stefan Dennis. It's the only way our society will grow. So here are 12 songs from Soapland that weren't done by Kylie, Jason, or Kylie and Jason.
1. Kevin Kennedy (Curly Watts) – Bulldog Nation

Wondering what you're going to do when X Factor and Strictly end? Fear not friends, because yet another series of Celebrity Big Brother is just around the corner. It is expected to return on January 5 on Channel 5 and this year it will have a "twisted fairytale" theme.
Emma Willis and Rylan Clark will be back in January with another batch of famous (and not so famous) faces, willing to humiliate themselves for our amusement.
Here are 15 early rumours about potential housemates for the 2015 series.
1. Danniella Westbrook
The former EastEnders actress has had a terrible 2014 and she's recently been on This Morning talking about her financial plight, so it isn't a surprise to hear that she's a new hot favourite to be heading into the house. Producers will no doubt hope that she's prepared to spill the beans about her troubles with drug addictions.
2. Sammy Winward

No.1's Week. Movie Week. '80s Week. Zzzzz.
Is it any wonder that X Factor ratings are tumbling when the show's theme weeks continue to be so predictable? Someone is singing 'Listen' from Dreamgirls you say? Gosh, we've never heard that before.
In the spirit of goodwill, we've got some suggestions that might spice things up and get some songs on a Saturday night that we haven't heard murdered 256 times before.
1. Sing Your Name Week
Inspired by the brilliantly named Ben Haenow, who could perform Crowded House's 'Don't Dream It's Over' ("Hey Now! Hey Now!"), everyone has to sing a song connected to their name.
Fleur East can tackle anything by East 17, Stereo Kicks can tackle a Stereophonics vs Rizzle Kicks mash-up, Lola Saunders can tackle the Kinks classic, Jack Walton could attempt 'Hit The Road Jack' and Only The Young could murder 'We Are Young'.

ITV2 has released a trailer for the follow-up series to The Big Reunion.
The Big Reunion: On Tour follows 5ive, Blue, B*Witched, Liberty X, 911, The Honeyz and Atomic Kitten as they perform around the country following the success of the show.
The promo for the three-part series teases backstage bust-ups, parties and tears as viewers are given a behind-the-scenes look at the bands preparing for their shows nationwide.
The '90s and early '00s groups were originally meant to reform for a one-off show at Hammersmith Apollo, but an arena tour was organised when the concert sold out off the back of the series' popularity.

The Big Reunion: On Tour starts Thursday, September 5 at 9pm on ITV2.
