Eliot Galan is a filmmaker from Austin, Texas. He is known for contributing to many award-winning films, as an editor, director, screenwriter and cinematographer, including One Person, One Vote? (2024), Ending Real Fur (2022), When the Tide Goes Out (2019) and Journey of a Dream (2011). His work spans many genres within narrative and documentary storytelling, including features, series and shorts. His career began in 1999 with a documentary that shared an immersive verite experience of the infamous "Battle in Seattle" protests. He then moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada, where he worked for nearly 20 years, until relocating to Los Angeles.
