David Miguel Estrada is a playwright/actor/director who has had numerous productions of his stage plays produced in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The son of an Army Officer and a dancer, his stage plays include "You Ain't No Johnny Cash," "The Yale Diaries," "God, Man, & Stan," and "The Life & Dubious Times of George Dubya Bush." He most recently acted in the Off-Broadway premiere of his drama "Long Time Comin'" at Theatre at St. Clement's, where David Mamet premiered "American Buffalo" and Sam Shepard premiered "La Turista." TimeOut New York called his performance "dazzling."

Dennis Safren of L.A.'s First Stage raves, "Estrada is one of the most exciting young voices in theater." Showbusiness Weekly hails him as a "maverick writer-actor-director" while Michael Barnes of the Austin American-Statesman notes Estrada acts with a "filmic sense of truth." New York Cool's Wendy Williams writes, "David Miguel Estrada is multi-talented."

Estrada is the youngest of a theatrical family that have all had plays produced in New York. The San Antonio Current calls them "extravagantly talented" while Joey Reynolds of the nationally-syndicated WOR Radio raves "Don't mess with that family!" Estrada was featured as a successful Latino playwright in the book "Icons of Latino America: Contributions to American Culture, Vol. 1" by Roger A. Bruns, biographer to Billy Graham, Martin Luther King Jr., and George Washington.

After graduating from Highland High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Estrada earned a degree in Writing, Acting, & Directing for Theater/Film at the College of Santa Fe. Estrada has studied with Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Christopher De Vore "Frances," Academy Award-winning director Jonathan Wacks "Pow-Wow Highway," and Tony Award-Winner Moises Kaufman "33 Variations."
