Award winning Producer, Writer and Author Kevin Romano - Huhn is a storyteller extraordinaire. At the age of 57 he decided to go back to school (Toronto Film School) and study Film & TV Production. Along with 4 other classmates he co founded MARKD Productions (a video production company).
He has written 2 short dramas, 1 feature (musical), and is working on a 2nd feature. Kevin has produced 4 short films and had his directorial debut with The DNA of LOVE.
His first short - Teen Across Canada (Directed by Robert Crowley Smith) has been selected, received finalist status and won festivals for Best Short Documentary, Best Director and Best Producer. Kevin's short drama - Hope for Christmas has been selected, received finalist status and won festivals for Best Short Drama, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Producer. The latest short - The Package was nominated for Best Sci-Fi.
Kevin's screen productions started in 2004, with nothing more than a vision when he produced his own TV & radio show that aired on NHL Network, FOX Sports, Sirius/XM and TSN Radio. In 2012, he won a civic recognition award from the city of Markham, Ontario.
His passion to entertain, empower and educate is fueled by his life long mission to put smiles on the faces of those he meets. His upcoming productions include 4 shorts and 4 full features.
