Intro: At the time of writing this episode of Arnie Revisited, it’s just been confirmed that Hollywood is once again scouring popular IP with the upcoming reboot of The Running Man from Edgar Wright, with rising star Glen Powell attached to the project. The Top Gun: Maverick actor is certainly hot property right now, having just cosied up to Sydney Sweeney in Anyone But You. However, it was another actor, whose star was crashing through the sky in the 80s, who first took on the adaptation of Stephen King’s short story, which was written under his Richard Bachman pen name.
Arnie had just battled camouflaged alien hunters in Predator, released in June 1987, and the same year saw him take on another action sci-fi project, albeit this time with less aliens but similarly memorable action and one-liners. It was quite a departure from the original short story, but the...

It’s been 8 years since the Bradford-born Dynamo first hit our TV screens, with an initial appearance on Richard and Judy marking the start of a rapid rise to becoming a bona fide global sensation.
Easily equalling the likes of other legendary street magicians like David Blaine and Derren Brown, Dynamo has continued to amaze audiences with his uniquely baffling tricks as well as winning our hearts with a refreshingly quiet and humble demeanour.
Most of us know him best for his award winning TV show, Dynamo: Magician Impossible, where he performed for the general public on the street as well as big name celebrities like Natalie Imbruglia, Will Smith and Samuel L. Jackson, and over the years he’s proved himself to be adept at a huge array of different styles of magic.
He seems equally at ease performing old-school tricks with a pack of cards...

It's not quite time for Ant & Dec to start packing up their golf clubs, but the early rumours on who might be taking part in I'm a Celebrity 2014 have already started flooding in.

1. Robbie Savage
The mouthy footballer, turned mouthy pundit has insisted that he definitely isn't heading to Australia later this year. However, that is exactly what someone would say if they were taking part and wanted to keep it a secret. We're like a Digital Miss Marple.
2. Tulisa
Another celebrity who has totally denied that they are taking part, but she's been getting in the bikini practice on The X Factor and she isn't exactly busy at the moment (what is she doing?). So why wouldn't she want to spend three weeks...

Robbie Savage has ruled out suggestions that he's starring in this year's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.

Should Tulisa head to the jungle for I'm a Celebrity?
Savage is not a stranger to reality TV. He appeared on Strictly Come Dancing three years ago and finished sixth in the dancing contest.
The 2014 I'm a Celebrity line-up could, however, star singer Tulisa Contostavlos, magician Dynamo, diver Tom Daley and Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan.
Model and TV presenter Melanie Sykes was also recently rumoured to feature in this year's series.
I'm a Celebrity returns for a 14th run with hosts Ant & Dec in November.

TV magician Dynamo has revealed to Digital Spy that being bullied as a child was the inspiration for one of his most famous tricks.
Watch our interview with Dynamo:
The illusionists's stunt, where he walked across the River Thames, stemmed from his years growing up on an estate in Bradford and being taunted by local children.
"There were some kids who used to throw me down the dam," said Dynamo.
"They used to take me down and throw me in and I used to panic."
Dynamo used to tell his grandpa that he wanted to "walk on water" so that he could deal with the bullying and said that performing his stunt on the Thames while his grandpa was still alive was his proudest achievement in his career.

BBC One and ITV have attempted to bring magic back to primetime on a number of occasions in recent years, but without fail it's always bombed. Why they haven't got their chequebooks out for Dynamo and snaffled him away from UKTV remains almost as big a mystery as some of the Bradford lad's tricks.
The third series of his Magician Impossible show launched this week and if I could only watch one show again from the last seven days, I'd make it this.
One of the biggest problems with magic tricks is that they are all variations on a similar theme. Dynamo's repertoire is no different and the majority of his skits in this opening episode can probably all be explained with a similar methodology.
But it's his down-to-earth Yorkshire charm and the swanky production that means I don't care if he's basically pulling off the same trick with...

Dynamo has said that filming in New York during Hurricane Sandy completely changed his approach to work, admitting that the disaster brought back his hunger for magic.
The TV magician was shooting an episode for his award-winning third series of Magician Impossible in New York in 2012 when the natural disaster hit the Us East Coast.
Speaking at the launch of his series last night, Dynamo said that he was moved by the power of New Yorkers, who rebuilt the city, and said that it changed his perspective on what his TV show should be about.
"I wanted to come back hard with series three, show that I'd matured a little bit. I've got a new hairstyle and things," said Dynamo.
"But after the hurricane... it changed my perspective. I wanted to make it less about me and more about the people of New York. They brought the magic to this episode.

The TV BAFTAs are back this Sunday (May 12) and we're jolly excited. The BAFTAs are the closest that Britain has to its own Emmys, allowing our TV talent to put on their best suits and glad rags and slap each other on the back for a couple of hours.
Graham Norton blends a sharp wit with professionalism as the host, the nominations shortlist pulls off the tricky balance of populist choices with critics' favourites and, most importantly of all, Ant & Dec don't win every single year.
The TV BAFTAs may not always get it right (Towie? Really!), but they take TV seriously and even if they are occasionally a bit stuffy or they get it wrong with a winner, it still gives us a chance to all have a right good row ("So and so was robbed!" "How did that win?!") while sat on our sofas at home.
