Toronto-born YouTuber Scotty Dynamo is mourning the loss of his husband, actor Mike Heslin, who tragically passed away at the age of 30.

In an emotional Instagram post, Dynamo wrote, “On July 2nd, my husband, best friend, and soulmate Mike Heslin passed away from an unexpected cardiac event after a week-long battle in the hospital.”

In the lengthy tribute, Dynamo detailed their relationship and praised Heslin’s character and talent.

Dynamo explained that Michael was young and in excellent health, and the doctors were baffled by his death.

The Super Bowl match-up between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers drew more than a half-million viewers to Comcast’s Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, the broadcaster said on Monday.

It’s been 8 years since the Bradford-born Dynamo first hit our TV screens, with an initial appearance on Richard and Judy marking the start of a rapid rise to becoming a bona fide global sensation.

Easily equalling the likes of other legendary street magicians like David Blaine and Derren Brown, Dynamo has continued to amaze audiences with his uniquely baffling tricks as well as winning our hearts with a refreshingly quiet and humble demeanour.

Most of us know him best for his award winning TV show, Dynamo: Magician Impossible, where he performed for the general public on the street as well as big name celebrities like Natalie Imbruglia, Will Smith and Samuel L. Jackson, and over the years he’s proved himself to be adept at a huge array of different styles of magic.

Dynamo has announced an extension to his first ever live tour in 2015.

The magician will now perform in seven cities throughout the tour - Edinburgh, Glasgow, Nottingham, Birmingham and Leeds, on top of London and Manchester

The tour will start with 12 performances in Manchester, 16 in London, three in Glasgow and five in Edinburgh.

Five dates will each be played in Nottingham and Birmingham, before finishing up with five nights in Leeds.

The illusionist, whose real name is Steven Frayne, is known for his TV show Dynamo: Magician Impossible, which came to an end earlier this year (2014).

Dynamo has announced the dates of his live tour. The 31-year-old magician announced earlier this year that he would not be making another series of his 'Dynamo: Magician Impossible' series as he wanted to create his own stage show and he's now announced a number of dates in two UK cities. Dynamo has confirmed that he will take to the stage in his first ever live show next year.

The magician - whose real name is Steven Frayne - will perform for five dates in Manchester and five in London.

Dynamo was widely expected to take his show on the road after he confirmed that his Watch show Dynamo: Magician Impossible would end after this series; the final episode airs on Thursday.

He had previously expressed an interest in starting work on a live show, telling Digital Spy that he felt he had achieved a lot on television.

Details of the October 2015 O2 Apollo Manchester and Eventim Apollo London shows have not been confirmed, but the tagline is: "Seeing is believing."

After joking that he had worked his production team too hard, Dynamo continued: "I genuinely do think that in regards to television magic, I've pushed the boundaries and reached a level that I think would be difficult to top at this moment.

"I just think there's so many other things magically that I'd like to try and go into. This is the last of Magician Impossible, but it's not the last you'll see of me."

Dynamo's UKTV series Magician Impossible is to air on BBC One, it has been announced.

Three episodes of the four-part series - which aired on Watch in 2011 - will be broadcast on BBC One at 5.35pm from Saturday, January 11.

The magician revealed that he is a fan of the Us rapper during an interview with Zane Lowe on his new show Dynamo Revealed.

"I think it's got to be Eminem," Dynamo said. "He's one of my favourite rappers. One of the greatest, I think, you know?

The illusionists's stunt, where he walked across the River Thames, stemmed from his years growing up on an estate in Bradford and being taunted by local children.

"There were some kids who used to throw me down the dam," said Dynamo.

"They used to take me down and throw me in and I used to panic."

BBC One and ITV have attempted to bring magic back to primetime on a number of occasions in recent years, but without fail it's always bombed. Why they haven't got their chequebooks out for Dynamo and snaffled him away from UKTV remains almost as big a mystery as some of the Bradford lad's tricks.

The third series of his Magician Impossible show launched this week and if I could only watch one show again from the last seven days, I'd make it this.

One of the biggest problems with magic tricks is that they are all variations on a similar theme. Dynamo's repertoire is no different and the majority of his skits in this opening episode can probably all be explained with a similar methodology.

Dynamo returns to Watch with a new TV series next month and has released a new trick video online to launch the show.

Featuring the super-cool magician pulling a skipping rope through the middle of his body, it leaves onlookers on the streets of New York stunned.

The BAFTA-nominated star's previous series have been huge hits in the UK and worldwide, and he will spend his third series touring destinations such as New York, South Africa and Ibiza.

His visit to New York coincided with the devastating Hurricane Sandy, but the magician used his talents to bring some magic to the city during the dark time and his trip culminated with a massive stunt in Times Square.

Tricks in the series will include turning rushing fountain water into ice with his bare hands and bringing wooden animals to life.

Tom Stoppard's Parade's End walked away with four awards at today's (March 14) Broadcasting Press Guild Awards.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Rebecca Hall won the best actor and actress titles, Stoppard took home the writer's award, while the series collected the best drama accolade.

Other awards were given to ITV's Exposure documentary about the Jimmy Savile sex abuse scandal and the BBC's coverage of the Olympics.

Last Leg comic Adam Hills won the breakthrough title and John Humphrys was celebrated with the Harvey Lee Award for an outstanding contribution to broadcasting.

Great British Bake Off, Hollow Crown and TV magician Dynamo also earned accolades.

The E4 sketch show starring Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns took home both 'Best Comedy Programme' and 'Best Multichannel Programme', while Dynamo: Magician Impossible beat the likes of Britain's Got Talent and Celebrity Juice to scoop 'Best Entertainment Programme'.

Elsewhere, Bradley Walsh quiz show The Chase won 'Best Daytime Programme', Channel 4's Educating Essex was named 'Best Documentary Series', and Monty Python dramatisation Holy Flying Circus was crowned 'Best Original Programme'.

BBC Two won the prestigious 'Channel of the Year' award, and the corporation was also recognised for its coverage of the London Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert.

Coronation Street picked up 'Best Soap/Continuing Drama' for the second year in a row, beating EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Casualty and Holby City.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary following the life of Steven Frayne returns on Thursday, July 5, with a four-part series as the magician comes to terms with his success.
