Elizabeth Hodgson has been in the entertainment industry for over 35 years. She began her career in Vancouver, Canada on CTV's national daily talk show 'The Alan Thicke Show', and then 'The Don Harron Show' as Executive Assistant to the host. After a move to Toronto, she began her foray into talent representation at Mark Breslin's world-renowned comedy club Yuk Yuk's, heading up talent bookings. Over the next three years, she worked with some of Canada's foremost comedic talent, representing over 100 comedians and booking an extensive circuit of comedy clubs, colleges, universities, corporate conventions, festivals, and variety/talk television programs throughout Canada and the United States. She was soon offered a position leading the film & television division of Toronto's Bookings Talent Agency, which is where she first began representing actors. After a short period of time, and given the success of many of her then clients, Elizabeth relocated to the United States as a film & television agent at Spotlight Enterprises in Los Angeles, which at the time was representing the most successful comedy performers in the world. She began developing this specialized roster to cross them over from comedy stages to television & film sets. After many incredibly eventful years in LA Elizabeth began missing her Canadian roots and chose to return to Vancouver where the film & television industry was quickly becoming one of the largest production centers in North America. Upon her return, she opened the doors to Hodgson Management Group Inc, where for over 25 years her management company has represented actors, writers, directors, producers, and IP internationally.
