These three-time Grammy winners for “Tequila,” “Speechless” and “10,000 Hours” had a history with the program as they previously performed on the live shows in Seasons 15 and 19, served as Blake Shelton‘s battle advisors in Season 20, and filled in for an absent Niall Horan during the Season 24 knockouts. Now that the Season 25 blind auditions, battles and knockouts have wrapped up, can Dan + Shay prevail for the first time on NBC’s reality TV show?

Viewers will get the chance to help a young woman called Emma Gossett try to save the multiverse as realities collapse around her in upcoming sci-fi project The Karada.

The project - consisting of a TV drama series and tie-in comic book - has been announced by Heroes writer Jim Martin, Tea4two Entertainment and Furnace Fighter Media. A trailer is embedded below.

Tea4two was one of the production companies behind Emmy Award-winning participation drama The Truth About Marika (see video below), a Swedish TV series in which viewers helped solve the mystery of the title character's disappearance, and the Emmy-nominated Conspiracy for Good, a similar project developed by Heroes creator Tim Kring.

The Karada TV series will allow viewers to interact via the web and mobile devices. The pilot has been written and negotiations are now taking place with TV channels.

The season premier for Heroes is Monday and NBC promises their website will feature more micro-sites. These specialized areas are promised to delve into secrets revealed on air, plus more graphic novel material, more cast commentaries and more webisodes beginning in December. In October, a special heroes vs. villains social network launches.

Meantime, the paperback edition of Saving Charlie, the sole Heroes tie-in novel, is also now on sale. DC’s second collection of Heroes webcomics will be out November 19 and collects all the comic material based on the second season. Creators for the 272-page collection include Joe Kelly, Steven T.
