Michael Di Girolamo is the Founder and Managing Partner of award-winning production company Hey Wonderful, honored recently for its work by Tribeca X and Cannes Lions. Established in 2016 and named one of 2018's Production Companies to watch by AdAge/Creativity, Hey Wonderful's diverse roster has directed an array of innovative and creatively driven branded entertainment. Highlights include award-winning web series from Tricia Brock - Nike "Margot vs. Lily" - and Sam Spiegel - Impossible Foods + White Castle "Wu Tang in Space."
In a career that spans 25 years and two coasts, Michael brings a wealth of commercial production experience, having successfully produced and managed the careers of some of the advertising and entertainment's most prolific directors. He has held pivotal positions heading sales and executive producing at RSA Films, Anonymous Content, Partizan Entertainment and Propaganda Films. He was also a founding partner of Station Film.
Michael's narrative credits include 2010's Sundance Film Festival short film selection, "The Poodle Trainer" which received awards from AFI/Silverdocs, Cinema Eye, Worldwide Shortfest, Gen Art and more before getting licensed by PBS. He was also an executive producer on the 2014 dramatic short "Pepper," which won many awards including Audience Award and Jury Award at Pride Film Festival, Audience Award at Louisville LGBT Film Festival and Festival Award at FilmOut San Diego. Most recently Michael produced "The Snow Maze," a heart-felt and magical adaption of Jan Mark's stunning book, featuring a stellar breakout cast of UK talent.
