Tracey Graham is an American actor born in Sacramento, California currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is the third of three boys born to Doretha (nee White), a furniture sales associate at J.C. Penny's and Samuel Graham a supermarket executive. His family has always encouraged him to follow his passion and become an actor.
Although Graham knew at an early age he wanted to pursue acting and acted in his first play while attending Grant Union High School he did not fully focus on acting until he graduated from Saint Martin's University, where is received his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
Graham began his acting career being cast in the University of Southern California (USC) student films including, "On The Line," "Stacks of Corruption," and "Pushing Up Roses." This lead to supporting roles in films such as "Missed Call," "Man In 3B," "Caught In The Middle," Like Mike," "13 Moon" and "Diary Of A Demise" as well as television roles on "Hollywood Fiction," "Crafty," "The Shield' "The Mascots" and "Shark" to name a few.
Graham also had the pleasure to be part of the ensemble cast of Web Series; "just the tip" who won an Award of Recognition from Best Shorts Competition and who also received an Official Section from Royal Wolf Awards. Additionally, in 2016 was a cast member of "Missed Call" who received a nomination in the Best Atmosphere category at the Independent Horror Movie Awards.
Although Graham loves to laugh and have fun given the opportunity to choose between the comedic or dramatic acting role he would choose dramatic acting roles hands down. This is why it's no surprise while growing-up he naturally enjoyed dramatic television and movies such as Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Blue Bloods, SWAT, This Is Us, and New American along with films including Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Good Will Hunting, The Departed and Heat. He influenced by the body of work from award-winning actor Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hanks along with actresses Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Sandra Bullock, and Natalie Martinez.
But, his true acting influence; and the people who motivated him the most were his acting coaches including Stuart K. Robinson of Robinson Creative, Gary Marks of The Acting Guru and Lesly Kahn of Lesly Kahn Company Drama School based in Los Angeles, California. Currently, Graham is studying with award-winning, Emmy-nominated screenwriter, author, and producer Sterling Anderson of Nitusa Productions also in Los Angeles, California. These coaches encouraged Graham and instilled in him every day to work towards building a solid body of work and become consistent at delivering undeniable performances no matter who was in the audience.
Graham's acting priority is to work towards delivering consistent and undeniable performances; and to accomplish those goals, he continues to train in various classes in scene study, comedy and improv. Presently, Graham is auditioning for film and television roles as well as doing commercial work. The ultimate goal for him is to be a consistently working actor. Graham's desires are to gain recognition for his work, but he will be content to just have consistent, significant and works that are financial giving. "I'll be happy with that at this point in my career;" says, Graham.
