Image Source: Getty / Bennett Raglin On Wednesday night at the iconic Capitol Records Tower in the heart of Hollywood, a small group of preteens and press were invited into the recording studio with Zendaya. Recently, the actress/model/musician/fashion designer partnered with Verizon on the #WeNeedMore campaign, which aims to bring awareness of Stem careers (Stem stands for science, technology, engineering, and math) to young students in America. The movement seeks to give students access to technology and hands-on learning that they might not otherwise have, and the purpose of the event was simple: to give these young creatives insight into a lesser-known piece of the industry. After a brief introduction, Zendaya brought all the kids with her into the recording studio. The group belted out a quick pop song cover before squeezing back into audio workspace. Inside, Zendaya's audio engineer, Josh Florez, showed the group how he produces a single track.

Whether or not The Lego Batman Movie is better than The Lego Movie is debatable, but there’s no denying that it gave us two awesome musical numbers. The first has already been released online and now, to celebrate the fact that the film is doing so well both critically and commercially, Warner Bros. has shared the one featured in the spinoff’s end credits.
Artist Oh! Hush leads the song along with The Lego Batman Movie star Will Arnett, who provides the vocals for the Dark Knight. They’re both joined by Jeff Lewis and the song is titled “Friends Are Family.” As you can tell from the video above, it’s a really catchy tune and seeing the characters potrayed in this way is definitely entertaining, especially as it’s so drastically different to what the DC Extended Universe offers at the moment.

WaterTower Music has announced the February 3 CD and digital release of the soundtrack to the new animated adventure “The Lego® Batman Movie,” one week before the film opens in theatres on February 10. The film’s director Chris McKay describes Balfe as “one of the most talented and versatile people I’ve ever met.”
“Chris is an encyclopedic reference for action hero films, but to him the important thing is the heart of the story, so I didn’t think of it as a comic, but as real, live action,” offers Balfe. “Every scene is amazing. After the first day working on the film,...

Jeff Lewis makes a plea for an updated version of Cathy Come Home (Letters, 28 September). Ken Loach’s new film I, Daniel Blake describes the present iniquities that exist for those drawn into the benefits and housing support system in England. It is as poignant and concerning as Cathy Come Home, and should be viewed by all our politicians.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann is all for artificial plump pouts. "You're never done - it disintegrates," Zolciak-Biermann told host Andy Cohen and guest Jeff Lewis. And when asked in a viewer question why she allows her 19-year-old daughter Brielle to do lip injections, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star responded: "First of all, she's almost 20, so talk to her. And then, why not? Shoot it up!" Related Video:...

Dermot Mulroney has signed up for a story arc on Shameless as Fiona‘s latest suitor. While he’ll play a new character, TVLine describes him as basically replacing the character that was played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Dermot Mulroney, not to be confused with the guy who was on American Horror Story.
Former Daily Show showrunner Rory Albanese — who worked on the show for 14 years — is returning to Comedy Central’s late night lineup. He’ll be in charge of the upcoming Minority Report, the show that will replace The Colbert Report. That sounds like a pretty promising sign.
