Molly Elizabeth Jobe is an American actress, singer, and dancer, originally from Columbus, Ohio, recognized for her extensive work in musical theater, particularly her five-year tenure in the Broadway production of Waitress. She began performing at a young age, appearing in productions such as Annie and The Sound of Music at the Columbus Children's Theatre. Her family relocated to New York City in 2001 to support her and her siblings' pursuits in the performing arts. Jobe attended LaGuardia Arts High School's drama department before earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater with a minor in Child and Adolescent Psychopathology from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2013.
Jobe's professional debut occurred at age nine in the Broadway musical A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden. She later performed as Pepper in Annie at the Paper Mill Playhouse and appeared in the television series The Job in 2002. After college, she joined the Broadway cast of Newsies as part of the ensemble and understudied the role of Katherine. From 2016 to 2020, she was a key member of the Waitress cast at the Brooks Atkinson Theater, playing Francine and serving as a swing and understudy for principal roles. She reprised her involvement in the 2021 Broadway remount at the Ethel Barrymore Theater, also appearing in the filmed recording of the musical as Mother.
Beyond theater, Jobe has acted in film and television, including roles in Things Heard and Seen (2021) and the Netflix miniseries Halston (2021).
