Jake Silbermann is an American actor, writer, director, producer and former model best known for his role as Noah Mayer in the soap opera "As The World Turns (2007 - 2010)."
Mr. Silbermann made his commercial debut in an international campaign for "Gillette Fusion Power" in 2006. He had his first daytime appearance in the defunct soap opera "Guiding Light (2007)," but it wasn't until his portrayal of Noah Mayer in As The World turns, as one-half of the first gay super couple on daytime television, that his name gained popularity. Since then, He balanced his career as an actor with his career as a model for DNA Model Management. He also developed the short film "Stuffer (2010)," a project that paved his future as a writer, actor and producer. Stuffer, was admitted into 25 film festivals and won 6 awards in total.
After his run in As The World Turns, Mr. Silbermann delved in his origins as a stage actor, He starred in Off-Broadway productions like "Dracula (2010)" and "Phaedra Bakwards (2011)," which encouraged him to found his own theatre company. "The Camisade Theatre Company" was founded in 2011 with the involvement of the actor Malcolm Madera and the writer Samuel Brett Williams. Together, they gave life to "Derby Day (2011)", an Off-Broadway play they took to cities like New York, Los Angeles, Little Rock, and Edinburgh (Scotland). Mr. Silbermann continued performing under the wing of the critically acclaimed playwright David Adjmi in productions such as "3C (2012)" and "Marie Antoinette (2012)." Later, He had his breakthrough on Broadway with the play "The Assembled Parties (2013)" of the director Richard Greenberg, where He shared the stage with actors of the caliber of Judith Light, Jessica Hecht and Jeremy Shamos.
