Tollywood is currently busy with Sankranti celebrations. Two movies Daaku Maharaaj and Sankranthi ki Vastunnam have received positive talk from audiences while Game Changer received mixed response. Rama Rajamouli is an Indian costume designer and film stylist. She debuted with the 2001 film Student No: 1, directed by her husband, the most celebrated Telugu director SS Rajamouli. Rama is known for her work in the films Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012), Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), and Rrr (2022).

She has also worked as an additional dialogue writer and has a connection with the TV industry. Rama entered the industry in 2001 as an actor by doing various small roles in the TV sitcom Amrutham, created and produced by her cousin Gangaraju Gunnam. She played a newsreader in Amrutham and appeared as a news presenter in one of the initial episodes of the show.

SS Rajamouli’s wife also appeared in another episode as a homemaker and shared screen space with the late artist Gundu Hanumantha Rao.

Recently, the director was spotted at Pulpit Rock in Norway with his wife Rama Rajamouli, during the special screening of ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ at the Stavanger Opera House.

Taking to Instagram, the director shared pictures of himself with his wife visiting the area and captioned the post: “Saw the images of this Pulpit Rock while researching for ‘Magadheera’. Wanting to come here since then. Thanks to Baahubali film in concert in Stavenger, finally it happened.”

As his post said: Rajamouli had been wanting to visit the area ever since his 2009 Telugu epic fantasy film ‘Maghadheera’ hit the screens, as one of the locations in the movie was inspired from the iconic Norwegian landmark.

A clip has gone viral showing Rajamouli’s reaction to the win. Rajamouli was seen with his wife and ‘Rrr’ cast. When ‘Naatu Naatu’ was announced as the Best Song at the event, an excited Rajamouli got up screaming in joy at the win but he also hugged his wife, Rama Rajamouli.
