- Manos Krystalis
- He has English and Greek ancestry.
- The biggest inspiration in his life has been the movie titled "The Company Man" with Ben Affleck as the lead actor but Marlon Brando has been his mentor (through his contribution to the Movie Industry) and his motivation for growth as an Actor. Marlon has changed completely the style of acting and he is the base and the greatest foundation for Manos and for so many other professional actors. Marlon brought realism in movies as no one else did before with outstanding performances and a stunning teacher leading his first steps, Stella Adler. Although Manos initially has started his career following strictly Meisner Techniques after several years he was able to "meet" Stella Adler's world and he disengaged from Meisner's "method" as he believed that you can not act if you feel that you are acting. You are either be a "hypocrite" or an "entertainer" that lives the moment as "Manos Krystalis" quotes. Not "IN" the moment Manos adds in his quote.
- He grew up in Switzerland, Zurich.
- Ranked as being one of the "Best Runway Models" by "The Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Famous Runway Models From Europe." He was ranked #3 in 2009.
- Had to learn to speak Standard American English because of his thick accent that made him sound like he is mispronouncing his words during the school years in Los Angeles.
- When they asked me for the first time in 2016 if I am still acting, I thought that was out of sight out of mind! When they asked me for the second time at the end of the year, I answered: You just asked me if I am still alive. Acting for me is not something that I decided to do for personal profits as this is a selfish thing for any artist and most of the times it dies along with the self centering elements. We perform for the audience. We go through these transformations for the viewers. And when we feel, audience feels and this is the moment that I feel fulfilled as an Arts Performer.
- What if an "actor" in order to be able to go through any kind of transformation had to go through the worse imaginary emotions, live unbearable inconceivable moments or even die and come to life again. Or maybe losing everything that you can possibly imagine. Being invisible... Would that be "real" enough for you?
- It's On B...
- There is no RIGHT or WRONG answer. Just speak from the heart...
