Kevin Tostado is an Emmy award-winning producer and filmmaker from San
Diego, CA. Kevin was part of the inaugural class of Franklin W. Olin
College of Engineering in Boston, and after completing his Engineering
degree in 2006, began developing and producing compelling content for
theaters, television, and internet. Most recently, Kevin Tostado
produced the feature comedy "Eternity: The Movie" featuring Eric
Roberts and Jon Gries (in theaters October 2014), as well the webseries
"Research." starring Gabriel Diani, Barry Bostwick and Doug Jones. He
directed and produced the 2011 documentary Under the Boardwalk: The
MONOPOLY Story, which won four regional Emmy awards from NATAS PSW, and
was also a Top 10 best-selling documentary on iTunes and reached as
high as #2 on the list of most-streamed titles on Netflix Instant in
July 2012.
Previously, Kevin has shot a webseries for NBC's Heroes and has worked on many projects including music videos, commercials for the Disney Channel and Subway, and segments for MDA and for Stella Artois. For "Under the Boardwalk," Kevin also created the Facebook fan page for the game of MONOPOLY which now has more than 10 million global fans.
Kevin is a member of the Producers Guild of America, National Association of Latino Independent Producers, and the International Documentary Association, and has received Emmys, Auroras, Tellys, and DV awards for his projects.
