The youngest son of a prize wining writer, Alex Kazan, was born in Iran
of Persian and Russian descent. The recipient of the Best Writer in the
National School Newspaper Competition, he was awarded by the late Shah
of Iran. At age 16 he left his family to start a new life in England
where he settled in Leeds, Yorkshire and gained his BEng in Electrical
Electronics Engineering. He also continued writing and making short
films. The aerospace industry was his introduction to the US, and once
in Hollywood, he knew there was no going back. His short films were
screened at festivals around the world and helped him raise finances
for his features.
Today Alex Kazan continues his success in the movie industry with a passion for Action and Horror genres.
