Born in Salem, Oregon on November 10th, 1974, Tim Sather moved to
Southern California at the age of five when his father obtained a job
as a police officer. He grew up and attended school in Placentia,
graduating from Valencia High School in 1993, before moving on to work
in the fire protection industry. For 13 years, he worked installing and
servicing fire extinguishers, and for seven of those years ran his own
business, "Portable Fire Protection." Leaving his successful business
to pursue a passion for film, Tim enrolled at Fullerton College,
graduating in 2006 with honors with an AA in TV/Video Production. He
was admitted to Cal State University Northridge in the fall, and earned
his BA in TV/Video Production in 2008. Tim currently works the live
sports field, finding time to do side work on independent films.
