Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice, have been indicted on 39 federal fraud charges [July 29, 2013].

Went to federal prison on Jan. 5, 2015 for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. She was sentenced to to 15 months. She is serving her sentence first. When she finishes her sentence she will go home; and then her husband will enter prison to serve his time. He was sentenced to forty one months in jail for his part in the families crimes.

She studied fashion marketing and management at Berkeley College in New Jersey.
