- Laura is known for her role on Singapore's long-form television series "KIN", on which she plays a sassy waitress. Laura has also appeared in numerous local English and Chinese drama series since she started working as a professional actor in 2008.
An all-rounded actress-presenter, Laura is proficiently bilingual in English and Mandarin. She has taken on diverse character roles from an uneducated villager in the 1960s, to a kind-hearted prostitute, an intellectually disabled woman, and a busybody housewife. She has also performed in an iconic Singaporean one-woman play, "Emily of Emerald Hill".
Laura studied Theatre Arts during a one-year course at Lasalle College. She has worked as an actress in television series, corporate videos, short films, feature films, commercials & theatre productions. Laura is also a Voiceover Artist & Host.
Laura was the Lead Actress of award-winning 32-minute short film "Cubik" (2010). As a newbie, she was cast as the Lead ('Alex Fu') in "Cubik", Official Selection at six International Film Festivals in the USA & Singapore. - Laura produced, directed & acted in her first play, "Thumbelina", when she was eleven years old, at a family Christmas gathering. The other actors were her siblings & cousins.
