Tom Cheshire(I)
- Stunts
- Actor
- Producer
"I originally trained in fine art at the Sir John Cass, East London, where I painted, drew, photographed and wrote. It was around this time I bought a super 8 camera and started filming my capoeira classes and other martial arts that I was obsessed with. I realized that dynamic movement was a very important thing to me happiness wise, and I wanted to tell a story and give a narrative- like I was doing in my artwork, which often seemed quite storyboard like, it seems very logical that I would end up devoting my entire adult life to filmmaking."
He attended the Brighton Film School for a Summer course in film Directing. His first ever film role was as 'Boz', one of the blundering robbers in a short heist movie directed and shot by class mate Laz Warwick- who he still collaborates with today.
With the compass set, Tom went on to train extensively in the disciplines surrounding stunts and also acting and Film making. His action and stunt skill-sets have given him a huge variety of work with his characters often doing their own combat, precision driving, being set on fire, being flown about on wires and being hit by cars. His background in action has made for an acting style strongly rooted in physicality with a pure desire to creatively tell the story with every frame of film. He is also still paints.
