Born in Oakland, California, Shaun is mostly known for his roles on stage, as well as his theatrical design credits. Shaun Tuazon earned a BA in Theatre Arts from San Diego State Univesity where he studied performance, stage management, and theatrical design.
Shaun has been seen on stages in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, and LA in: Mamma Mia, House of Joy, Vietgone, West Side Story, Girlfriend, Spring Awakening, In the Heights, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Guys & Dolls, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Zanna Don't!, RENT (featuring original Broadway cast member, Gwen Stewart), San Diego I Love You, Bye Bye Birdie, Altar Boyz, Dog Sees God, The Nutcracker, Dear Harvey, and more!
Shaun is probably most notably remembered for his performance in the San Diego Premiere of, Zanna Don't!, (in which Shaun played the title role), Qui Nguyen's Vietgone directed by Jesca Prudencio at San Diego Repertory Theater (Nomination for Outstanding Lead in a Play, San Diego Critics Circle), Girlfriend at Diversionary Theater (Nomination for Outstanding Lead in a Musical, San Diego Critics Circle), and Circle Circle dot dot's, Deconstruction of a Drag Queen (Nomination for Outstanding Lead in a Musical, San Diego Critics Circle) . In 2011, Shaun was mentioned in the San Diego Gay & Lesbian News's Best of Theatre Review for his role in Diversionary Theatre's, Dooley.
