In 2009, Eric Frost-Barnes and Kate Luhr won 2nd Place for Best Screenplay at the L.A. Comedy Shorts festival for their script The Karate Kat.

Eric Frost-Barnes's short film, Unsaid, was an Official Selection at numerous film festivals: including the 2019 Los Angeles Shorts International Film Festival; the 2019 Weyauwega International Film Festival; the 2020 Golden State Film Festival; the 2020 Lancaster International Short Film Festival; the 2020 Social Justice Film Festival; and the 2023 Zion International Film Festival.

Eric's film, Unsaid, also won the Featurette Narrative Bronze Prize at the 2020 Social Justice Film Festival in Seattle, Washington.

His short film, an Atheist's Guide to the Afterlife, is an Official Selection at the 2022 Believe Psychology Film Festival; the 2022 Marina Del Rey Film Festival; the 2022 Zion International Film Festival; and the 2023 Studio City Int. Film Festival.
