William Campbell (b. 1969) is a composer, pianist and teacher whose music is performed throughout the U.S. As a pianist and improviser he has performed as soloist and in contemporary ensembles including the acclaimed Sonoran Consort. He has written scores for award-winning films, dance troupes, and theaters. His CD Piano Songs of solo piano compositions is available through all major outlets, as are two of his film scores, A Cadaver Christmas and Lifeboat. Additionally, churches nationwide sing his music for worship every Sunday. Composition honors include multiple ASCAPPlus Awards, a Penfield Commission Project Composition Prize, and special citations from the College Orchestra Directors Association and Waging Peace International. He is Professor of Music at St. Ambrose University, and the Director of Contemporary Music at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport, Iowa.
