While performing, the character of Jive Bunny wore a bunny mask. This is often referred to as the "first masked DJ" which would then go on to create and start the trend of masked DJs which was adopted by hit DJs and Music Groups like Daft Punk, Deadmau5, and Marshmello.

As a DJ and music producer, Les Hemstock, created and produced the smash hit "Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers" a popular British novelty pop music DJ act that exploded in popularity across England and later the rest of the world. The Jive Bunny album's have gone Platinum and Gold several times.
