- Born and raised in Adelaide Australia, Aldo Mignone originally studied jazz saxophone and then trying his luck briefly as a stuntman, a friend invited him to audition for a role which he received in a play in one of Adelaide's smaller theatre venues. He then moved to Sydney in 2009 to study acting during which he scored a lead role in the South Australian cult hit comedy series Danger 5 in 2010. He then landed a role in the award winning Australian drama series A Place To Call Home in 2012 as the young Italian farmer Gino Poletti.
