Tom Wyrsch

Tom Wyrsch is a director, producer, and writer known for his contributions to historical feature-length documentary films. He began his career as a producer and director in 2008 with the low-budget documentary Watch Horror Films, Keep America Strong, which featured notable figures Bob Wilkins and John Stanley. In 2010, he directed and authored the documentary Remembering Playland at the Beach, which explores the history of the now-closed amusement park in San Francisco. Wyrsch has received a California State Legislature Award in recognition of the historical significance of Playland at the Beach and was recently a runner-up for the Rondo Award for his work on the 2022 feature film Up Late with Bob Wilkins. Additionally, he has directed over 300 episodes of the acclaimed show Creature Features.
