Javier Solórzano Casarin

Javier Solórzano Casarin is an accomplished writer, producer and director. He studied a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video at Columbia College Chicago. In the past 15 years, he has honed and developed his skills as a filmmaker and a creator in various formats and in a wide variety of projects. He's a dedicated cinephile as well as an admirer of the profession and the long history of cinema. He's made several award-winning short films and documentaries, as well as acclaimed documentary series in Mexico. He began his career with "Elvira" an acclaimed feature documentary which premiered at the Morelia International Film Festival and played in film festivals in Mexico, the United States, South America, France and Spain. He created "Guardia-García", a dramatic television series which is available on Prime Video Latin America. He was the series' director and showrunner. His first fiction feature, "Adentro" had its Asian premiere at the International Film Festival in India, Goa this year and continues to go through the international film festival circuit.
