An Israeli filmmaker and visual artist, Mysh was born in Riga, Latvia
(then USSR). At the age of 16 he moved to Israel, and after completing
his studies at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem,
settled in Tel Aviv. He began his career in animation, and created,
directed and designed a number of TV series, short films and music
videos in Israel and abroad. After a few years he expanded to
live-action film making, while keeping working on animated projects and
comics. Since 2005 he teaches art for animation at Bezalel, Animation
Unit of Screen Arts Faculty.
