Andrea Carlisle is a stand up comedian, actress, writer, and host. She also looks Asian, has a Spanish last name and sounds pretty American. So basically, she's complicated.
After years of modeling and traveling and realizing that she fell on the runway more times than walked on it, Andrea studied business in New York and Houston before moving to Los Angeles to figure out her life. Andrea began booking small gigs on a variety of networks including CBS, NBC, and Comedy Central. Passionate about comedy, Andrea has found a niche there and spent years studying comedy and improv at Lesly Kahn, Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Groundlings School. She eventually booked a role on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005), which led to more roles on Two and a Half Men (2003) and the NBC series, Growing Up Fisher (2014). Andrea's comedy experience and bookings soon led her to pursue stand up comedy. Andrea's comedy has been characterized as a "zero f**ks" kind of humor. She is very 'in your face', witty, sarcastic, truthful and relatable. You can catch Andrea doing stand up at various comedy clubs across the country.
Andrea has opened for comedy greats such as Jamie Kennedy and Jeff Garlin. She is always creating new comedy projects and will be featured in an issue of Maxim Magazine.
