Pauls Dombrovskis was born in Latvia during the Soviet occupation and witnessed the country's transition to independence. He has lived in several countries, including Germany, the United States, New Zealand, and Australia. In 2010, Pauls immigrated to Vancouver, Canada, to pursue a career in filmmaking. His work often explores human philosophy, inner mechanics, and people's conditions, and he aims to create beautiful, soulful, and character-driven stories that touch people's hearts and inspire them to become better versions of themselves.
Pauls studied Film Production at Vancouver Film School, with a full scholarship. His short films has been played in festivals across the world and was nominated for the Latvian Film Awards. Through his work, Pauls has established himself as a filmmaker who tells deeply personal and human stories that resonate with audiences around the world and stays with them long after fillm is finished.
