Joshua Tanksley is the second of four children of Russell and Katherine
Tanksley.
Josh was born in Detroit Michigan (the Motor City) at Hutzel Hospital on April 30, 1986.
In 1992, he and his family relocated to Atlanta Georgia where he grew up.
Josh started to pursue acting in 2009 and has worked on numerous productions including Film, TV and Music Videos. Such as Stomp The Yard 2: Homecoming, Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, Tyler Perry's For Colored Girls and The Vampire Diaries to name a few.
Josh has had the opportunity to work in films with other talented actors such as, Denzel Washington, Martin Lawrence, Janet Jackson and Director/Actor Tyler Perry.
Josh has also had the opportunity to travel outside of the U.S and is now working towards becoming a great actor pursuing his first lead/supporting role in a major film/TV production with influences by Martin Lawrence, Will Smith and Denzel Washington, and hopes to work with these actors as well as actresses like Angela Bassette, Taraji P. Henson, and Jennifer Hudson.
