Tub Short Film. Bobby Miller‘s Tub (2010) short film stars Eric Levy, Megan Raye Manzi, Dwayne Wilson, and Cheryl Gross. Tub‘s plot synopsis: its about “a guy who can’t commit to his girlfriend… Who then jerks off in the shower. And accidentally impregnates his tub.”
Once I read the synopsis, I had to watch Tub. I think I actually said out loud: “What?” What happens in the Tub short film is hilarious, I do not want to give it away.
More on Tub‘s premise:
I probably came up with it while I was masturbating in the shower. Actually, I think the germ of it came from my undergrad freshman roommate. He was goofing on someone and said, “You jerk off in the shower so much, you probably have babies living in the sewer!” I’m assuming the comment stuck in my brain somehow, because I didn’t...

I suppose it all sort of started in 1968 with Roman Polanski.s Rosemary.S Baby, then taken to the next level of weird in 1979 by David Cronenberg with The Brood and most recently twisted in a wholly new way in 2009 with Grace. If you haven.t figured out the trend by now, you.re clearly not a fan of quality horror. So, let me spell it out for you and say the trend is horror movies about babies and pregnancy.
Exactly. The concept alone is twisted enough for most people to shy away at the mere thought of cute, innocent little babies being associated with movies intended to scare or repulse the audience on some level. For those people, Bobby Miller.s short Tub is not immediately recommended, but. I still dare you to give it a try.
Written and directed by Bobby Miller, Tub is not his first short film and it shows.

Tub is a short film written and directed by Bobby Miller. Bobby is best known for his online show, The Reel Good Show, which is batshit hilarious (watch the Best Worst Movie episode – it’s top notch). Bobby is known to me as one of the most courageous indie filmmakers I’ve ever met. Here’s the synopsis for Tub: A guy (Eric M. Levy) masturbates in his bathtub one night after his girlfriend (Megan Raye Manzi) won’t give him the goods. He wakes up the next morning to see a baby has spawned from the tub’s drain. Yes, you read that right and yes, shit gets weird.
