There is a lot of drag content circling on your device in 2024, but one thing you can’t ignore is any opportunity to watch Derrick Barry on television. Perhaps the most well-known Britney Spears impersonator in the world, Barry has been television gold on multiple “RuPaul’s Drag Race” seasons including the shortlived 2020 reality series, “RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue.” Now, Barry and a number of their co-stars from the “Drag Race Live” show in Las Vegas are back with a new spin on that concept, “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live: Untucked.” And, no, surprise, Barry is so entertaining, they genuinely deserve some sort of producer credit.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 kick started 2024 on January 5 with Part 1 of its two-part premiere. In this first episode, only one half of the new cast began the competition to begin “America’s next drag superstar.” On January 12’s second episode, the remaining seven hopefuls left their first impressions in a Dmv-inspired photo shoot and then showed off their talents for their peers to rate and rank from best to worst.
Seated at the judges’ dais for episode 2 titled “Queen Choice Awards” was Emmy winning host RuPaul Charles, longtime bestie Michelle Visage, recurring judge Ross Mathews, and singer/actress Becky G as the extra special guest.
The seven queens introduced this week are: Geneva Karr, Hershii LiqCour-Jeté, Megami, Mhi’ya Iman Le’Paige, Nymphia Wind, Plane Jane, and Plasma.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 16 kick started 2024 on January 5 with Part 1 of its two-part premiere. In this first episode, only one half of the new cast began the competition to begin “America’s next drag superstar” in two challenges: a photo shoot on RuPaul’s front porch and a talent extravaganza to show off their talent skills. But don’t get too comfortable because Ru threw in a “twystery” or two for the girlies as well.
Seated at the judges’ dais for episode 1 titled “Rate-a-Queen” was Emmy winning host RuPaul Charles, longtime bestie Michelle Visage, recurring judge Carson Kressley, and Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron as the extra special guest.

For nearly two decades now, the contestants of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” have entertained audiences with their lip syncs, fierce looks and wild personalities. In all, there have been more than 20 American winners when you combine the regular show with the “All Stars” champions. But what about the — gulp — losers? Many of the queens who failed to take home the crown ended up being more successful in the long run than those who beat them. In our photo gallery above, we have pored through the roster of former queens to bring you the definitive list of the Top 15 most successful “RuPaul’s Drag Race” losers ever (in alphabetical order).
RuPaul Charles hosts the Emmy-winning series and is currently joined on the judging panel by Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley. In 2022, the reality TV program welcomed back eight of the most popular champions of all time for a special “All Winners” season.

Each week on “The Pit Stop,” Bob the Drag Queen runs down the crowning achievements of the all winners on the newest episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” alongside a guest host. Following Friday’s seventh episode, Bob was joined by season 14 champion Willow Pill to get to the bottom of Monét X Change‘s belief that Willow was a “master strategist.” Watch the full episode above via the official RuPaul’s Drag Race channel on YouTube.
Ahead of their recap and review, Willow admitted to Bob that while filming she didn’t have the intent of strategizing, but watching the show back she sees how people can think that. She even described a moment during filming where the other girls asked her if she knew the lyrics to a lip sync song and she said “no” despite having performed it herself before. Trinity K. Bonet wanted Ariana Grande's Grammys dress, and she got it. On April 3, at the 2022 Grammys, the RuPaul's Drag Race alum recreated the show-stopping Giambattista Valli dress the "pov" artist rocked at the award show in 2020. And when we say she recreated, we mean it, as Trinity hit the red carpet in Las Vegas, Nevada wearing the same billowing grey gown as well as a high blonde ponytail and long satin opera gloves. We're sure this homage has Ariana looking side to side! On April 2, Trinity teased that she, along with fellow RuPaul's Drag Race queens Asia O'Hara, Derrick Barry, Kahanna Montrese, Kameron Michaels, Naomi Smalls, Jaida Essence Hall, Alexis...

We've got a champion!
On RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 5 Episode 8, a new winner was inducted into the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Jujubee, Miz Cracker, and Shea Couleé battled it out during the final leg of the competition to determine the winner.
Old tea got served, new looks walked the runway, and the deserving winner won the crown in the least surprising outcome in Drag Race Herstory. Overall, it was a fun end to cap-off an average All Stars season.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” completed the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on Friday July 24 with the finale episode “Clap Back!” where Jujubee, Shea Coulee and Miz Cracker vied for the coveted crown.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” continued the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on July 10 with the queens joining RuPaul Charles and his family for “The Charles Family Backyard Ball.” In that sixth episode, the final 5 walked the catwalk twice: once as an invented friend/relative character arriving at the cookout and a second time in a garment made using backyard tools and items. Miz Cracker was declared the overall winner, her second time of the season, but lost the lip sync to secret assassin Roxxxy Andrews. Roxxxy’s victory meant that the losing queens’ vote would determine the episode’s outcome, a “sashay away” for Alexis Mateo.
This season, instead of two of queens performing lip syncs for their legacies, the week’s challenge winner will go up against a non-competing queen deemed a “lip sync assassin.” If the season 5 all-star wins, she gets a $10,000 tip and gets to decide who to boot.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” continued the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on July 3 with the queens revealing their best celebrity impersonations in “The Snatch Game of Love.” In that fifth episode, RuPaul Charles changed the rules once again — no longer would there be a set of bottom queens, but rather any contestant not picked as the top queen would fall to the bottom and be vulnerable to elimination. As the top of the week, Shea Coulee was faced with the option of getting revenge on Alexis Mateo after India Ferrah disclosed that Alexis had campaigned to get Shea out earlier in the season. While she was tempted by that option, Shea went by performance metrics and ultimately sent India home on her fourth straight week in the bottom.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” continued the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on June 26 with the queens showing off their most dramatic improv skills. In that fourth episode, Miz Cracker was declared the overall winner of the week, outperforming her scene partners Jujubee and Blair St. Clair in the process. After her lip sync against secret assassin Morgan McMichaels ended in a tie, there was an opportunity for two queens to go home but both Cracker and the jury of losers selected Mayhem Miller to sashay away so we only said goodbye to one.
This season, RuPaul Charles has changed the All Stars rules once again. “RuPaul’s Drag Race” continued the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on June 19 with the queens working in small groups to promote boutique hotel experiences. In that third episode, Jujubee was declared the overall winner of the week despite Blair St. Clair and Mayhem Miller creating the judges’ favorite hotel room concept. As the winner, Juju faced off against the week’s lip sync assassin Monet X Change, but lost which meant that the jury of losing queens got to vote to eliminate their consensus choice, Mariah Paris Balenciaga, from the season.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” continued the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on June 12 with the queens making declarations of love for their celebrity crushes in “I’m in Love.” In that second episode, Ongina was on edge after Miz Cracker freely told her that she should have gone home in the first episode instead of Derrick Barry. Turns out Ongina was the next to “sashay away” while Cracker’s reputation among the rest of the cast began to fracture.

The category is: twisty! When “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” Season 5 premiered earlier this month, host RuPaul Charles announced a shocking new wrinkle: each week a surprise Lip Sync Assassin will battle the weekly challenge winner for the power to reveal the lipstick of the eliminated queen. The catch? If the All Star contestant wins the lip sync, they take home a $10,000 tip and they solely choose which of the bottom queens goes home. If the special guest Assassin wins, the money is carried over to the following week and whoever receives the most votes from the others gets the chop. In our recent poll we asked the show’s dedicated fans to sound off on the twist, and the results are in: 81% absolutely love it.
“It’s great seeing these past Lip Sync Assassins give it their all on the catwalk,” voted the vast majority. Conversely, the 19% of haters proclaimed,...

They’re baaack! As host RuPaul Charles revealed in the Season 5 premiere of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” a new twist introduced the 10 returning queens to some of the most talented Lip Sync Assassins in the reality TV show’s herstory. The rules state that the week’s challenge winner has to lip sync against a surprise guest star in order to take home the $10,000 tip. Oh, and whoever prevails gets the power to reveal the lipstick of the week’s eliminated queen. If the All Star wins the lip sync, they solely get to choose which of the bottom queens gets the chop. If the Lip Sync Assassin wins, they reveal the lipstick of the queen voted on by all of the other contestants.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” kicked off the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on June 5 with a jam-packed “All Star Variety Extravaganza.” In that premiere, the real world and social media feud between all stars Derrick Barry and India Ferrah took center stage. But as tension between the two continued to rise, the season-long drama we expected was cut short when India was named the challenge winner and Derrick was voted by the remaining queens as the first eliminated queen.

New season, new contestants, and a whole new game. RuPaul wasn't kidding when he said that All Stars' rules were suspended indefinitely.
The queens experienced a new strategic and competitive landscape on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 5 Episode 1.
The road to the crown won't be as easy with lipsync battles and making majority alliances anymore. It's a refreshing change that balanced the power and made the competition unpredictable (to an extent).
First things first: I love the new rules for RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.
Previously, the power solely came down to the Top 2 winning queens and which bottom queen they wanted to see get the chop. The responsibility got squarely placed on their shoulders, which unfortunately gave them the brunt of the backlash from queens and fans.
Let's not forget Naomi Smalls getting undeserved outrage over eliminating Manila Luzon during RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 4 when...

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” fans, are you ready to see your favorite drag queens from past seasons return to duke it out for the honor of joining the Drag Race Hall of Fame? The much-anticipated “Drag Race All Stars 5” season is finally upon us, with 10 of the most memorable contestants back to fight for place in the Drag Hall of Fame. So who sashayed away first and who won the inaugural challenge on “All Star Variety Extravaganza”?
Take note: the format for elimination has been tweaked. Instead of two of queens performing lip syncs for their legacies, one of the girls will go up against an “assassin” from seasons past. If the season 5 all-star wins, she gets a $10,000 tip and gets to decide who to boot. If she loses, the tip gets added to the jar for the following week and the rest of the queens will rule on the elimination.

Hold onto the edge of your seat, squirrel friends: The fifth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” is being shaken up.
This season there are new ways to get eliminated and new rules when it comes to lip syncing for one’s legacy, VH1 announced Thursday.
Instead of selecting the top two queens of the week and having them perform opposite each other, as has been tradition in the “All Stars” spinoff of the “Drag Race” franchise, host and executive producer RuPaul will select only one top “All Star” per episode. Then that queen will lip sync against a “mysterious lip sync assassin,” as the Viacom network puts it. Who are these special guests? Some of the most iconic performers from past seasons. If the competing queen wins the lip sync, she wins a $10,000 tip an the power to eliminate the bottom queen of her choice — but if she loses to the assassin,...

Shantay, they stay… at VH1.
After the February announcement that “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” would move from VH1 to Showtime for its fifth season, producers revealed on Friday that the series will in fact remain on VH1 when it premieres on June 5. Both networks are owned by ViacomCBS.
The initial decision to move “All Stars” to Showtime caught some flack from fans displeased that they would need to subscribe to the pay cable network to see it. But in a press release, the decision to keep “All Stars” on VH1 was chalked up to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which “resulted in various scheduling and programming adjustments.”
The release also officially revealed the cast of 10 previous contestants on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” who are returning to compete for the $100,000 top prize and a place in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame,” alongside previous winners Chad Michaels (Season 1), Alaska (Season...
