Is there anyone who isn't having some kind of affair on Dynasty Season 3 Episode 17?
You have to appreciate when an episode leaves you questioning everyone's alliance -- it's how you know the writers of a dramatic primetime soap are doing something right.
The first half of Dynasty Season 3 lacked a certain spark, but the jaw-dropping storylines have finally been infused into these last few episodes.
The ending of "She Canceled" rocked the boat in a way that's so shocking, twisted, and downright wrong, you simply cannot turn away from the trainwreck.
On Dynasty Season 3 Episode 16, Laura made Blake a proposal that he seemingly couldn't resist. To get Carrington Atlantic back, he needed to break up Liam and Fallon.
It sure seemed like Blake would do anything for his own benefit as he conspired with Laura and helped her plant seeds of doubt and insecurity into Liam's mind.
Blake: Just asking.

Adam Carrington, the long lost firstborn son of Blake and Alexis Carrington, is as devious and cunning as his parents are. His sinister personality probably is the product of genetics and his traumatic childhood, since he was kidnapped in his nursery and then raised by the same unstable woman who, with her ex-boyfriend, took him away from his biological family.

His first goal is to claim the Carrington name and to be Blake's beloved son. Adam is the most dangerous character in the show, considering his physician knowledge, his talent at manipulating and his creatively sick mind.

Do you know what was more dramatic than Liam's espionage noir pitch on Dynasty Season 3 Episode 13? That cliffhanger.
While the latter half of the episode was an emotional rollercoaster, the first half fell a bit flat.
The black-and-white theme wasn't incorporated in the best way, but it did challenge the cast to break out of their cliched characters, which was exciting for everyone.
Liam got his time in the spotlight as his character, Leland, was the protagonist of the story and led the mystery of the missing peach diamond.
Fallon's character, Veronica Cabot, stayed mostly the same, though, it did allow Liz Gillies to show off her impeccable vocals. We'll never complain about that.
Anders and Blake switched places as Sanders and Blaine, and it was a joy to see Grant Show take on the role of the "help." The role of Blake comes so naturally to him, but here,...

There are a lot of secret siblings on television.
Plenty of TV shows tend to build their foundation on common tropes such as the cringe-worthy love triangle trope and the long lost sibling trope.
If you need to stir up some drama, especially in a campy teen series, there's no better way than by bringing in a secret sibling that's jealous, scorned, vengeful, broken, betrayed, looking for a family, or all of the above.
Some secret siblings are introduced in a sensical way with the serious laying some breadcrumbs leading up to the introduction.
Other reveals come out of left field and frustrate audiences by appearing as mere plot devices thrown in for the sake of it.
And sometimes, the trope works well as the secret siblings become pivotal to the storyline and the main character's development.

How many shady people can take up residence on a single show?
Well, Dynasty Season 3 Episode 6 proved that the answer is a whole lot and then some.
It's hard to tell who's the shadiest at this point. Is it Evan Tate? Is it Adam Carrington? Is it his nurse Nadia?
Is it Dominique? Or is it self-help speaker Joel Turner?
Every single one of these people is working an angle and has a hidden agenda, and quite frankly, it's becoming a little hard to keep up.
Even Blake Carrington is up to no good, but that's the least surprising part of the episode honestly.
Fallon: I am working on removing the other "L" word from my vocabulary.
Monica: "Love" or "Liam"?
Fallon: Both. I need to work on forgetting Liam, which is ironic.

Fallon's seeing dead people on Dynasty Season 3 Episode 1.
It's been a long and uneventful few months without the Carringtons antics, but despite the break, the series wasted no time addressing all the shocking cliffhangers.
The guilt Fallon is feeling stems from divers, hired by Adam, pulling two dead bodies -- Trixie and Mark -- out from the little lake in the Manor's backyard.
Finding the dead bodies forced both Anders and Blake to come clean about their involvement in the murder.
And then, the family did what they do best and banded together to bury the truth and keep the police from finding any incriminating evidence.
Just another day in the Carrington household.
Covering their tracks included Adam sneaking into the morgue to "switch up" the body tags so that the cops wouldn't find Blake's DNA all over.

This is a different bit of casting news for The CW's Dynasty.
Whenever there are cast changes for the reboot, they almost always include a beloved series regular exiting.
However, just hours ahead of Dynasty Season 3, it has been revealed that four cast members have been promoted to series regular status.
TV Line is reporting that Adam Huber, who plays Liam Ridley on the first two seasons of the series, has finally landed a series regular contract.
It's surprising the network confirmed the news before Dynasty Season 3 Episode 1 airing given that Dynasty Season 2 concluded with Liam's fate very much up in the air.
Still, this will be music to the ears of the fans that have been clamoring for more of Liam ever since his debut on the series.
Liam shares a strong connection with Fallon, and one that fans picked up on from the get-go.

We’ll be seeing more of Cristal Jennings in the third season of the CW’s Dynasty. Daniella Alonso, who joined the series in a recasting in July, has been promoted to series regular for season 3, which premieres tonight. Additionally, recurring actors Michael Michele, who plays Dominique Devereaux, Sam Underwood, who portrays Adam Carrington, and Adam Huber, who plays Liam, all will be series regulars in the new season.
Dynasty has gone through major casting changes over the past two seasons. One of the original leads, Nathalie Kelley, departed at the end of Season 1. The role of Cristal was recast with Ana Brenda Contreras, who was replaced with Alonso as the series headed into season 3. Additionally, Elizabeth Gillies recently took over the role of Alexis from Nicollette Sheridan.
The new season also gets underway with new showrunner Josh Reims, who was upped to exec producer and showrunner at the end of Season 2 after Sallie Patrick,...

Dynasty‘s new opening credits are looking mighty crowded these days, which is good, because there’s plenty of drama to go around.
Ahead of tonight’s Season 3 premiere (The CW, 9/8c), TVLine has learned that Adam Huber (Liam Ridley) and Sam Underwood (Adam Carrington) have formally been promoted to series regulars. Huber has recurred since Season 1 as Fallon’s on-again-off-again love interest, while Underwood debuted as a presumed-dead member of the family in Season 2.

It may be Mother's Day, but it's important to remember that not all relationships between mother's and their children are ideal.
Not all mother's have been warm and nurting towards their children which has resulted in a lot of pain and mommy issues.
While daddy issues are more common, there's a handful of characters who suffer because of absent or overbearing mother's, mother's who pushed too hard, or even, abusive mother's.

Adam Carrington is getting what he believes he deserves on Dynasty Season 2 Episode 16.
I have to say, I cannot wait for Jeff Colby to expose him, take him down, kill him. Basically, whatever he has to do to get rid of him.
Did anyone realize that Adam is now part of the opening sequence as a series regular? Why?
As it stands, Colby is Alexis' only hope at getting away from maniacal son.
The rest of her family is either blinded by the promise of second chances or too consumed with themselves to really care about her.
Blake welcomed Adam with open arms because he's guilty over Adam's terrible childhood.

Fallon is not only weirded out by Adam, but she's also too obsessed with trying to prove that she's still a boss babe and simultaneously jealous of all the attention Adam is getting from Blake.

Oh, mother! Oh, brother! Oh, Matthew!
My head is spinning from all of the revelations on Dynasty Season 1 Episode 21!
There is so much to unpack as we creep towards the Dynasty Season 1 finale, I don't even know where to start.
Let's talk about all the new Carrington family members coming for a piece of Blake's pie.
Not only did Alexis bring Adam Carrington -- who, just as we believed, is a complete fraud -- into the fold, she also brought Jeff and Monica Colby.
Remember when Alexis told Jeff that he's actually a Carrington on Dynasty Season 1 Episode 20? Well, she wasn't lying.
Their grandmother confirmed that she did, in fact, have an affair with Thomas Carrington which would make Jeff's mother, Millie, half a Carrington.

This makes me despise "racist Thomas" even more than I already did.

Robin Sachs, best known for his role in the long-running TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer, has died at age 61. He passed away on February 1st, four days before his 62nd birthday, according to his website which announced his death on Tuesday. “This is a post we never thought we would have to write,” the post reads. “It is with great sadness that we have to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Robin Sachs.” Born in London, Sachs’ first role was with the British Hammer film studio in the movie Vampire Circus. His other feature work includes The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Oceans Eleven, North Fork and Ravager. Sachs appeared in numerous TV series over the years, but his most memorable role was as Ethan Rayne, arch rival to Giles, Buffy’s mentor in Buffy The Vampire Slayer starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. Robin Sachs, a British actor best known for playing the slippery, mercenary mage Ethan Rayne on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, has died, according to the BBC. Sachs’ death is described as “sudden and unexpected” on his official website, though no cause is given. He was 61. Though two of his earliest roles were in the miniseries Brideshead Revisited and Dynasty: The Reunion (where he replaced Gordon Thomson as Adam Carrington), Sachs was far more suited to science-fiction and horror stories than lavish costume dramas, beginning with his screen debut in the Hammer-produced Vampire Circus. Over the years he had numerous ...
