Christopher left Hollywood in 2002, taking a hiatus from acting, promising to return when financially capable to produce his own TV shows and Movies and cast himself in them, and did just that. After living in Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines for 5 years and building a large fortune he returned in 2009 to Executive Produce Division III: Football's finest with Andy Dick, casting himself as Carl in the movie, followed by He's Way More Famous Than You, and more recently award winning film, DIWA, and history making film, The Night.
Christopher Johns has been called as a hero for his amazing video and exchange with the Hollywood Gunman on 12/09/2011 that went on a rampage near Sunset and Vine shooting at random people. In the video Johns was trying to distract the shooter and get his attention, making himself a target. This incident gained him national press exposure. Johns appeared on CNN with Don Lemon, NBC and featured in Inside Edition to share his story.
