Mark Troy(II)

Mark was born in Wilmington Delaware on June 20, 1960. He spent his childhood and teen years there until his university education in North Carolina. At about age 13, Mark discovered his parents' Kodak 8mm movie camera and projector, and set about directing and acting in films. Science fiction, horror and comedy were his favorite genres. He was advancing well into makeup and stop-motion animation special effects when real life tapped him on the shoulder and led him off to college.

Mark spent the 20 years after college graduation in the financial services industry, where he advanced to executive level positions in marketing and analysis. In late 1995 he moved from the east coast to San Diego, where he lived for six years before moving to Sarasota Florida to be closer to his parents.

In 2008 Mark retired from the corporate world. After some soul-searching, he found himself enrolled in the local comedy club's stand-up class and from there he spent his time scouring local ads for people seeking help with their indie films. One thing led to another as the cliché goes, and Mark began getting acting roles. The roles became larger and more important as time went on.

Mark lives in Sarasota with the love of his life Patricia and their Labradoodle master, Carter.
