Jonathan Christian Carlander is an award-winning filmmaker, publicly-displayed artist, and self-published comic book creator who has autism. After graduating from high school, he attended Oxnard College, winning his first film festival award for a sports documentary short he co-directed. He then transferred to Columbia College Hollywood, where he worked as a P.A. on the indie horror movie "The Hideout" and also wrote/directed/edited his own thesis film, "The Pleasing List", about autism and finding love. After winning several festival awards for this movie, Jonathan has also assistant edited two documentary features and directed a professional short film, "Autistic America", featuring an ensemble cast.
