Biography

Vanessa was born in Brisbane, Australia, to an Australian mother and New Zealand father. She spent most of her childhood in a small coastal town in New Zealand. She has two sisters, and is an identical twin.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Dramatic Art (Acting) from The Victorian College of the Arts. She has worked with some of Australia's top directors. Likely best known for her role as villain Jakinda/Eledi in Disney's 'Reef Break', or as Mara in Netflix Original 'Chosen.' She starred opposite Sam Neil in Nine Networks 'House of Bond,' mini series on business tycoon Alan Bond.

Another credit to note is the recurring role of the tenacious journalist Jane Forbes in 'Between Two Worlds.' Vanessa has also held lead roles in Independent feature films.

Outside of acting, Vanessa volunteers on a farm at an animal rescue.
