Tara Nicole was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania and graduated from Sharon High School in 2001. Two Fun Facts: She was voted most school spirit and still reps her HS swag and she sang in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2001 with the group America Sings. She was very active in the Drama Department on and off stage and went on to Kent State University to receive a BFA in Theater Design Technology. She focused in Stage Management and Lighting Design and almost received a minor in Art History. From there she worked at Porthouse Theater in Akron, OH, La Mama Theater in New York City, and MGM Studios in Orlando, FL before moving to Los Angeles to dabble in the TV industry. She was accepted as a member of the 2011 Director's Guild Producer Training Plan and joined the Director's Guild of America in 2014. She became a Tjahjadi in 2016 and takes pride in her new initials TNT. She enjoys mentoring current DGA Trainees and Production Assistants aspiring to be Assistant Directors. She has worked on many Emmy awarding winning shows and has a Directors Guild Award nomination for American Sniper and Just Add Magic. She also has 2 NAACP Awards for Family Reunion. In 2017 & 2018 she served on the 2nd AD Committee. She is served as a member of the DGA Western AD/UPM Council for 2019-2023. In 2022 She was a part of the Proposals Committee and in 2023 she was an Outreach Team Leader during negotiations. Her favorite job to date is being Mom to her son, Aristotle Cooper & daughter, Coberly Lian.
