Lucia Scharbatke received a Diploma in Law from the University of Passau in 2008 and a Diploma in Productions and Media Business from the University of Television and Film Munich in 2013.
2008 she founded KAAMOS FILM. Her films were awarded at numerous national and international film festivals such as Hamptons International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Stony Brook or DragonCon.
From October 2012 until September 2015 she worked as an lecturer at the faculty of Feature Film and Televison Feature at the Universitiy of Television and Film. Since October 2015 she teaches at the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg-Simon-Ohm "Media Law", "Producing Film and Animation", and "Producers View"
She also worked as a producer for TRIXTER Productions (October 2015 - September 2018) as well as for TRIXTER Pictures (January 2017 - September 2018).
2021 she joined UNCHARTED TERRITORY, founded by Academy-Award Winner Volker Engel and Emmy-Award Winner Marc Weigert. UNCHARTED TERRITORY is currently headed by Volker Engel, Gesa Engel and Lucia Scharbatke.
