Dr. Julius Hibbert first appeared on "The Simpsons" in the episode "Bart the Daredevil". In that particular episode, Bart (Nancy Cartwright) was toying with the idea of being an Evel Knieval-type stunt performer, aiming to leap over Springfield Gorge on a skateboard. As a warning, Bart was taken to see Dr. Hibbert who took the boy to a special wing of Springfield hospital. In it were nothing but children who had injured themselves after imitating stunts they saw on TV. "I won't even subject you to the horrors of our Three Stooges ward," Dr. Hibbert gravely intones.
From 1990 through 2021, Dr. Hibbert was played by Harry Shearer. When viewers became sensitive to how many white actors have played animated Black characters throughout the history of animation, Shearer stepped aside and Kevin Michael Richardson took over the role.
Dr. Hibbert was kindly, bemused, but possessed of a strangely cold bedside manner. When Bart comes to see Dr.

Former America’s Got Talent: Extreme reality show contestant Jonathan Goodwin has filed a lawsuit claiming lax safety standards on the show led to an accident that nearly killed him and left him a paraplegic.
The lawsuit was filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. Named as defendants were Fremantle Media North America and its production arm, Syco Entertainment, Marathon Productions, and NBCUniversal, among others.
In October 2021, the TV production was at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. Goodwin was involved in a stunt wherein he was supposed to escape while wearing a straightjacket and suspended 20-40 feet in the air between two cars. The stunt called for him to remove the jacket before the cars hit each other head-on.
Instead, Goodwin was crushed between the two cars as the stunt went wrong, causing an explosion on the set and burning Goodwin. He was rushed to the hospital and production was paused.

5 Star Wrestling dropped its name in the hat of UK wrestling promotions that are attempting to shake things up and make the British wrestling scene a bigger deal than it has been in many years. Airing a special show on Spike, with rumours of it going on to further regular shows in the future, 5 Star Wrestling presented us with Dominant Wresting: Dundee, a program that was promoted with the image of Scotland’s own Drew Galloway (formerly WWE’s Drew McIntyre) at the forefront. It was interesting and exciting to see a new special show in the UK, especially with the coverage to the ITV Wrestling Special on New Years Eve and the WWE produced UK Title Tournament from Blackpool a few weeks ago. Many eyes are on the UK right now when it comes to professional wrestling and this was another opportunity.

As a wrestling fan, devising one’s own crystal ball is part of the fun. Speculation is king, and trying to figure out what the landscape of World Wrestling Entertainment will look like in 12 months is something all wrestling fans will do at some point in time. I would wager that a large number have already started putting together their own WrestleMania cards, planned surprise returns and championship wins. Predicting the future is all part of being a fan.
WWE has an immense amount of talent at its disposal, and despite 23846 hours of weekly television time the company seems unable to find something meaningful for a large number of the wrestlers. Now, I’m not arguing that everyone should be in a major storyline, certainly not, but with over 60 men and 15 women there is absolutely no reason why the same matches should happen as frequently as they do.

For a while there, it seemed like tag team wrestling in World Wrestling Entertainment was dead in the water. A cursory look at some of the past champions in the period between the unification of the titles in 2009 to the current day paints a particularly dreary picture, with such historic teams as Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov, The Corre (Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel) and The New Nexus (David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty) holding the shiny copper pennies at various points.
Go even further back, to the miserable mid-2000s, and the division is cluttered with teams like Gymini, The Dicks and The Heartthrobs. It has been bleak, to say the least.
Maybe it is too optimistic to commit to this, but the winds of change seem to have spread through the WWE and tag team wrestling is a thing once more. There are actual teams inhabiting the division, The New...

There has been a lot of arguing on social media of late between WWE seamstress Julie Youngberg, who is the wife of former WWE/WCW star Shannon Moore and Reby Hardy, who is the wife of former WWE and current Tna star Matt Hardy.
According to Youngberg, Matt and Reby have been hacking and stalking her.
Here’s what Youngberg wrote on Facebook recently:
“So great news. The police came over the other day who are working on my case of the person/people who are hacking me, stalking me, making up horrible lies, slander, etc and are trying to break up the beautiful marriage Shannon and I have. Funny enough the cops traced the emails back to a town none other than Cameron Nc!!! Hmmm…lol, Just a little more time before they crack the false name the acct was opened under but they are working on it.

Global Force Wrestling
The angle that will start the Global Force Wrestling invasion of Tna Impact will begin on the July 22nd edition of Impact, according to the Wrestling Observer.
That show will air on a slight tape delay on Destination America while the other shows in July have already been taped. The storyline will continue with Gfw’s first ever TV tapings in Las Vegas on July 24.
Current Tna stars that will take part in the Gfw tapings are long-time performers Bobby Roode and Eric Young, both of whom are close with Gfw’s owner Jeff Jarrett. Young will also be taking part in Gfw live events this weekend to work an angle with Jarrett. Other Tna stars are likely to be there as well.
What’s weird about the Gfw taping aspect is that they have no television deal announced in any country. Perhaps they will have something to announce soon,...

Global Force Wrestling
Global Force Wrestling, the new promotion that is being launched by Jeff Jarrett, is looking for a TV channel to broadcast their shows.
According to reports in the latest Wrestling Observer, the company has had discussions with a number of television networks including Spike, Wgn, Fox Sports 2 and Cmt. Of those four, Spike would be the best option because they have had WWE, Tna and Ecw shows on their network over the past two decades. Apparently they aren’t actively seeking a wrestling show right now, but if they are then Gfw will do their best to land with them.
Gfw’s plan for now is to tape between 12-14 one hour TV shows during three taping dates in Las Vegas with the first one taking place in July, the second in August and the third one in October. Prior to that, they are doing some live...

Gfw, otherwise known as Global Force Wrestling, has been in the works for a while. Founded by Jeff Jarrett, who also launched Tna back in the day, and who famously held titles in both the WWE and WCW, Gfw was big news when first announced – but then, next to nothing happened. Was it the wrestling equivalent of vaporware? When would the fledgling promotion get off the ground?
Well, a lot of answers came today, as the promotion held a press conference at 1Pm which included a roster reveal and info on who else would be involved with the promotion, including none other than former three-time Ufc title challenger Chael Sonnen, who has long been linked to a possible pro wrestling career, and was once rumoured to have been linked to the WWE.

Aj Lee finally put a year of speculation to rest Friday when it was announced that she was retiring from in-ring competition. The story, which broke on WWE.com comes just days after Aj made Divas Champion Nikki Bella tap out to the Black Widow at WrestleMania Xxxi. The timing of the announcement is peculiar, as is its wording. Typically when a talent leaves WWE (see Justin Gabriel or Rey Mysterio), the company announces the wrestler has left WWE and wishes she or he the best in their future endeavors. In this case, it only referenced her retirement from competition.
Regardless, Aj Lee has made a huge impact on women’s wrestling during her four years on the main roster. She is the longest-reigning Divas Champion in WWE history at 295 days and is tied for the most title reigns with three.
But Aj’s contributions to women’s wrestling go far beyond titles.

Justin Gabriel made headlines a few weeks ago when he willingly walked away from WWE, quitting of his own volition to seek greener squared circles elsewhere. Usually someone of his relatively low status in the WWE pecking order would fall victim to the dreaded “future endeavors” list, but Gabriel chose his own destiny by leaving a company that clearly had no plans in place for him.
Some may look at it as a foolish decision, turning his back on good money for what has to be considered a light schedule as far as pro wrestling goes, but the man now going by the moniker of Pj Black would rather ply his trade on the indies and create value for himself rather than toil away his prime years barely getting a chance to perform.

Justin Gabriel has reportedly quit World Wrestling Entertainment this weekend.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer at F4WOnline.com, Gabriel “quit WWE this weekend but we don’t know any details past that right now.”
Gabriel was announced to be part of the 30-man Royal Rumble this weekend and will likely be replaced for tonight’s event.
It is not a major shock that he would quit just because he’s barely been seen on the major television shows in WWE and if he is then he’s only there to lose a match quickly. He was also rumored to be the guy that wore the Bunny costume a few times on television, although a number of different people did that too.
Gabriel originally signed with WWE developmental in 2008. In early 2010 he was a part of the first season of Nxt in which he finished in third place.

There's nothing like a night in the great city of New Orleans to buoy a wrestling fan's spirits. Unfortunately, like most of you, I was at home, many hundreds of miles from the nation's home of all things jazz and jocular. Fortunately, WWE's King of Swing and dozens of other superstars were on hand at the regrettably named Smoothie King Center (especially unforgiveable in the city of Hurricane slushies) to make sweet, scripted in-ring music.
So without any further needless editorial improvisation, here are the five things I took...

Trinity and Jon Fatu are a perfect example of a couple that can work together and still have a good relationship—both inside and outside of the ring. Known as Naomi and Jimmy Uso in the ring, the pair met back in 2009 when they were both just starting out in the WWE and have been together ever since. After a long engagement, which caused some friction between the pair due to Jon's readiness to commit and Trinity focusing more on career, the two ultimately wedded in a beautiful beachside ceremony on the island of Maui, surrounded by their loved ones, closest friends and fellow WWE superstars including Jey Uso (Jon's brother) and Justin Gabriel. Adam Rose made some waves upon his initial main roster debut, however, has petered out a bit since then. Despite this, Rose has continued his winning ways, thanks in part to his ever-changing pack of Rosebuds. The one constant in the group has been the Bunny, who has recently begun to involve himself in Rose’s match-ups.
Reportedly, there are some relatively big plans for the Bunny, who is shockingly getting a small push. Yes, a man in a giant white bunny costume is currently the focal point of a WWE storyline. Rose has been doing battle with the team of Slater Gator, as of late — Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil. In their various contests, Rose’s Bunny has been physically involving himself in the action — most recently, hitting Slater with a superkick on Raw.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, along with quite a few other legends and current stars hosted a panel in celebration of SummerSlam to reveal the roster for WWE 2K15. There wasn’t any gameplay on display, but rather stills of each character’s selection screen portrait, which was a bit disappointing but hey, finally getting a glimpse at who is making the cut is still an event.
Unfortunately, the roster that was shown is noticeably thin. For comparison, there are only a little over 50 wrestlers confirmed in WWE 2K15, while 82 different stars made it into WWE 2K14. Naturally, this has a lot of gamers and wrestling fans upset, and subsequently glossing over some miscommunication between 2K Games, WWE, and even the stars running the panel.

Having begun life as a reality show designed to showcase a selection of developmental talents, WWE’s Nxt has for the last two years instead functioned as a separate ‘promotion’ of sorts, with its own championships, arena and roster. Said roster is made up of a number of individuals from the company’s developmental system, who are given the opportunity to compete in front of a televised audience and enhance their skills before they are considered worthy of performing in front of thousands of fans and millions of television viewers each week. Such individuals have included Seth Rollins, Big E and the Wyatt Family.
As recent cuts have resulted in several performers leaving the company and other acts have gotten stale from overexposure throughout the years, the main roster is currently crying out for new talent. Nxt has plenty to provide, from distinguished independent performers to well-gelled tag teams.

Though World Wrestling Entertainment appears to be in the throes of roster cuts and the strangle of re-appropriating its company finances, developmental territory Nxt appears to be – for the “wrestling first” WWE fanatic – a hotbed of incredible action. Within the past twelve months, from a broadcast a new signing standpoint, the territory has become a tremendous mishmash of top independent wrestlers and unique characters who have excelled at catching on with the WWE Universe. Now that these talents have all gathered in Orlando, it’s time to now pull on the fantasy booker cap and contemplate ten matches that WWE (and wrestling fans in general) would ideally want to see, and why.
With Kenta, Prince Devitt, Adrian Neville, Solomon Crowe, Kevin Steen, Kalisto and Nxt’s established talents clicking on all cylinders, Nxt is a dream promotion at a time that the professional wrestling industry for some resembles a nightmare.

It appears as though WWE is planning on turning Tyson Kidd into a masked wrestler, according to a recent report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The soon to be 34-year-old Kidd has already had a mask designed by a man who makes Lucha Libre masks, according to reports. The feeling within WWE is that Kidd is a talented wrestler, but they’ve marginalized the Tyson Kidd character for so long that there’s nothing they can do with him past the preliminary level.
The idea seems silly considering Kidd has been a part of the Total Divas show since its inception due to his wife Natalya being featured as a diva on that show. Their wedding aired in the season final of the first season. Fans have known about Kidd for many years from WWE and they also see him on Total Divas, yet WWE wants to put a mask on his face?...

Gamers and wrestling aficionados everywhere rejoiced upon the news of 2K Games acquiring the rights – in an auction from the now defunct Thq – to produce the yearly annual WWE games. Earlier this week though, it was reported that WWE 2K15 would be missing its standard release date of Q4 and would instead be launching sometime around Q1. A wise guess as to when exactly it will arive would be sometime around March to coincide with the annual WrestleMania spectacle buildup – which was definitely a bummer, but there is a good reason
Last month, WWE superstar Justin Gabriel revealed over Instagram that his entire face and body had just been scanned for the upcoming video game. The developers themselves also may have been trying to keep it a secret, as Gabriel’s Instagram post was swiftly deleted.

In addition to being a major figure in the wrestling world, Total Divas' star Trinity Fatu now has her sights set on the music industry as well! The WWE Diva has just dropped her hot new single "Dance All Night", accompanied by a sexy music video that also features an appearance by her husband, WWE Superstar Jon Uso. In the video, Trinity shows off her dancing and singing skills, not to mention that she really glams it up (does anyone else remember her jeweled bodysuit fiasco?) Trinity and Jon were recently married in a beautiful ceremony in Maui, where fellow WWE Superstars Justin Gabriel and Jey Uso were also in attendance. Watch the music video above to see the couple really heat...

A lot of people have been talking about Benjamin Morris’ 538 piece, “Are Pro Wrestlers Dying at an Unusual Rate?”
Like Morris, I am neither an actuarial scientist nor a demographer. So, our interpretations of the data should be taken with a grain of salt. My results were somewhat different from Morris’ due to a difference data set and changes in how we calculated actuarial predictions.

I also used Social Security Actuarial Life Tables, but my “expected mortality rates” for the age groups were not the same as Morris’. For each wrestler, I calculated what their age would have been as of today. Then, based on gender, I looked up the number of lives (out of 100,000) that were expected to still be alive and converted that to a percentage. His analysis looked at wrestlers who were on 20+ WWF PPVs through 2002. I went with a...

Nxt’s impact on the future of the WWE was spotlighted this past Monday on Raw. The show after WrestleMania has become known for its shocking moments, surprise returns and big debuts. We all remember last year when Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money In The Bank contract and defeated Alberto Del Rio to become the World Champion. The year before that, Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE to greet John Cena with an F5.
This year’s post WrestleMania Raw was centered around many Nxt talents. After weeks of hype, Alexander Rusev had his first singles match on Raw and squashed Zack Ryder. In what may have been the most shocking moment of the night, Nxt Divas Champion Paige made her debut and won the WWE Divas title. She made history becoming the first wrestler to hold an Nxt title and WWE title at the same time.

Last night’s edition of Raw was the second last episode of WWE’s flagship show prior to WrestleMania 30 on April 6 in New Orleans. It was held in Brooklyn, New York in front of a boisterous crowd that reacted well to most of the action. There were times when they veered off in another direction with “Cm Punk” chants, but for the most part they cared about what they saw in the ring even without Daniel Bryan in action.
For weeks we’ve been updating you with the lineup for WrestleMania. Several matches were made official following Elimination Chamber while others have slowly taken shape based on recent actions from Raw and Smackdown. Here’s a look at the eight matches that are expected to be a part of the full WrestleMania card.

“You’re either Nexus or you’re against us,” was the motto of the original Nexus group, led by Wade Barrett. In what may have been one of the most shocking debuts on WWE Raw, eight Nxt rookies made their way to the ring on June 7th, 2010, to sabotage the main event of the night, and destroy everything in its sight.
Wade Barrett was the first to make his way down the ramp and cause a distraction during the match between WWE Champion John Cena and Cm Punk. From there we saw the seven other Nxt rookies make their way to the ring through the crowd, and over the barricade. This Nexus group would first attack Luke Gallows on the outside of the ring, followed by Cm Punk. All eight members would surround the ring, and methodically plan their attack on WWE Champion John Cena, who didn’t stand a chance.

This past Monday’s edition of Raw saw Hulk Hogan announce the Andre the Giant memorable battle royal that will see 30 men compete to win a trophy that has Andre’s image on it. Currently on WWE.com it lists Ryback, Big E and Curtis Axel as the first three competitors in the match. Two more superstars have been added to the match in the last couple of days.
At Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings, Dolph Ziggler entered himself into the battle royal also. He’s somebody that has a lot of talent, but has no current direction and his TV time has been very inconsistent in the past several months. Perhaps a good showing in the battle royal could be the spark that Ziggler needs to become a top guy again. It would be a welcome sight to...

I’m not really a fan of the WWE Superstar Collection releases, but to be fair I guess it’s the choice of matches that are important. The collection picks a superstar and then gives a series of matches from their history that feature them. With the WWE Superstar Collection: Daniel Bryan release for the most part this could be one of the better releases because the matches selected are more wisely picked than the others I’ve seen.
As we know with Daniel Bryan he started off in Nxt and we see this with the first two matches in the form of Bryan vs. Chris Jericho. This was one of the matches that got him noticed in the WWE and started his rivalry with The Miz, with the storyline that Bryan believed he was better than him. As you would expect with Jericho the match was well paced and...

It’s fair to say that the WWE is going through a tough time right now whether certain events are to do with storylines or actual business issues. With the release of WWE Live in the UK: November 2013 it allows us to look back to Raw and Smackdown back in 2013 before Survivor’s Series and in some ways see where all its troubles were being formed. In truth as a fan I call them troubles, I dare say the crowds and their cheering don’t really mean much to WWE unless the ratings change.
Looking at Raw first, other than Randy Orton and his usual whining promo which was as boring as ever it was a strong episode, especially with the ending. When many people think of the great WrestleManias, a select number of events tend to pop up in the mind of most fans. WrestleMania X7 is probably the best WrestleMania of all time and a candidate for the best American wrestling PPV of all time. WrestleMania III is up there thanks to the spectacle of the Silverdome and a rather great event overall. That’s fine and dandy, but I’m going to throw a different WrestleMania into the mix. WrestleMania VII may be the best WrestleMania that nobody talks about.
First, let’s address the elephant in the room and one of the main reasons that most fans tend to shy away from WrestleMania: Gulfsploitation. I don’t even know if that is a word, but that is probably the best name for it. Taking Sgt. Slaughter who at that point had been portrayed as an American hero...

Today in the modern world, time is our scarcest resource as a WWE fan. There is way too much content out there. Between the main shows, the B shows, and YouTube content the fan has become a little more discerning with their viewing patterns. Truth be told, not many people even watch Smackdown on Fridays. And It’s a shame that on Monday, WWE gave you a three-hour Raw show that in reality did not mean as much as the one-hour show Main Event or Nxt.
Manchester, England played host on the more important episodes on Main Event in quite some time. As previously announced on Raw, Natalya following the win in a tag match against Aj and Tamina received a Divas title shot against the Black Widow. It was really a great match. Hosted by The Miz, the compilation features every Money in the Bank Ladder Match in history. The match debuted at WrestleMania 21 in 2005, quickly becoming a WrestleMania tradition and in 2010 proved so popular that it was given its own annual PPV event. Several top Superstars have been Money in the Bank winners including John Cena, Kane, Edge, Cm Punk (twice!), Rob Van Dam and many more. 11 of the first 12 winners have used the match as a springboard to winning a championship, and several times the match has helped a Superstar who has never win a World Championship break through to claim their first. Much like the Royal Rumble Match, the Money in the Bank match represents a golden opportunity for a Superstar to achieve immortality, and its entire lineage is presented here.
It is nice to see this match receive its own box-set release. The “Money in the Bank” concept...

So, you might be familiar with Nxt, the development show for WWE that runs weekly television shows from FullSailUniversity in Florida. The talent down there is currently very good and features a wide array of styles and appearances from its roster. I write the weekly Nxt reviews, here on Nerdly, and with the year now in its final quarter I thought it might be a good time to review the development roster that appears on the Nxt show, and give grades and remarks regarding certain talents.
I will grade each of the following with anything from an A+ down to a F. I’ll explain what each grade means below.
A+ – Beyond ready for the main roster, should be on Raw or Smackdown, now!
A – Ready for the main roster, as soon as possible.
B – Could easily transfer to the main roster, but might need a little work.
C – Needs a little more development,...

WWE and 2K Games have finally made the long-awaited roster announcement for their upcoming WWE 2K14 video game, boasting a surprisingly beefy line-up of over 80 superstars. In addition to the 30 Years of WrestleMania roster already announced, we were given a full list of the WWE Superstars and Divas who would be filling out 2K Games’ first time publishing a wrestling game (albeit still with the same developers as before, Yukes).

Raw opens with Mr and Mrs Triple H making their way to the ring as the locker room members who helped Daniel Bryan on last week’s closing moments of Raw are standing on the stage. The Shield are standing beside the ring. Triple H talks about how he is proud of the superstars for stepping up and that they should be upset that Bryan is getting (another) WWE Championship match at Battleground. Triple H and Stephanie then make a big elimination 11 on 3 tag match for later on the show as The Shield take on Rvd, Bryan, The Uso’s, Prime Time Players, R Truth, Dolph Ziggler, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston. The announcers and wrestlers look confused as to why Triple H and Stephanie have put The Shield in a difficult position. Something fishy is going on methinks.

When "WWE Raw'" went off the air last week, the good guys rallied and took out Triple H's hired muscle, The Shield. The show ended with Daniel Bryan being paraded around the ring on the shoulders of his fellow wrestlers. Of course, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon can't let that stand, because they're the bad guys.
The big news: Triple H kicks off the show, which is becoming all too normal. He's out with Stephanie as the guys who saved Bryan last week wait on the stage. The McMahons (Triple H is kind of a McMahon at this point) congratulate the good guys on making an impact. When Rob Van Dam lets them know it was because they were fighting for Bryan because he got screwed, Triple H and Stephanie don't believe it.
They make a legitimate argument that the wrestlers should be fighting for themselves, instead of Bryan and...

This past Monday on Raw, the roster rose up against their corporate oppressors to help out Daniel Bryan battle against the Shield. The ripple effects of this and the treatment of Dusty Rhodes carried over into the Main Event and gave hints of crossing over to future events of Nxt as well. Let’s talk about the Main Event first.
This week Main Event came from my surrogate hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio . Alex Riley, subbing for the decimated Miz thanks to Randy Orton, sat alongside Josh Matthews to call the action. Interesting enough, they did not replay the footage of the attack on Monday.

The cruiserweight division had a very hard long struggle to become a global wrestling success. It started off in the form of lucha libre, perfected and showcased in the likes of Mexico by the likes of the legendary Mil Mascaras. The form was developed on in various different countries like Japan before the high-flying cruiserweights were introduced to America, through the ever-so-daring Ecw.
With the likes of Rey Mysterio and Juventud Guerrera having high-flying, explosive matches that put American audiences on the edge of their seats, the cruiserweight division was further established by WCW and eventually was widely accepted as the replacement for the tried-and-tested Light-Heavyweight division. Eventually, this high-flying style made its way to WWE after the WWE bought-out WCW and their talent, with the likes of Billy Kidman and Tajiri being introduced to the WWE audience. After Monday’s Raw, the corporate machine has really made an impact on the WWE roster. It all used to be so simple. What worked for the territories would work for the WWF: crown your biggest draw the champ and feed him a succession of supporting players from further down the card. Don’t worry if the challenger isn’t particularly over; the rub from the champ will make him look like a star for the couple of months he spends above his regular place further down the card. It’s a model that made Hulk Hogan the biggest thing the sport had ever seen. But that was back in the day of television squash matches and only a handful of Pay-Per-Views a year.

The show begins with a solid six man tag with the Usos and Kofi Kingston versus The Shield. Everybody was on point as both trios gave it their all. At one point, the babyfaces did an amazing triple dive on the Hounds of Justice. The match had great back-and-forth between the two sides. Kofi Kingston definitely looks the best since his return to the WWE.

There’s no doubt there was a lot of outrage on the internet following the conclusion of WWE SummerSlam. There were a lot of questions with Triple H, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan as Raw rolled into Anaheim. In the city of the Anaheim Angels, was there a devil on the shoulder of The Game? What’s next for John Cena and is Daniel Bryan’s big push over? About a month ago, I asked the question is Daniel Bryan the new Stone Cold Steve Austin? Judging from this weeks episode It definitely seems like that’s the case. While he may not swearing or lewd he seems to be set up to be the main protagonist against the new McMahon-Helmsley regime.
The show begins with John Cena who comes out and explains that he is just as disgusted by the actions of Triple H. Cena says that Bryan deserves to be champion.
