Denise M'Baye

Denise M'Baye was born to a German mother and a Senegalese father in Dannenberg, also known as Wendland, in Germany. Following her school diploma, she quickly made her name as an actress and has been engaged for such TV series as Um Himmels Willen, Rote Rosen, and Notruf Hafenkante, as well as such TV films as Das Wasser des Lebens; she has also worked in film productions (for example, Vineta) and regularly performs live theater. Credits include at Schauspiel Hannover (Sanft und grausam, Disco Pigs) and Klecks Theater. As a narrator she has worked on such projects as the audiobook version of The Diaries of Adam and Eve based on Mark Twain. Along with her work as an actress, Denise M'Baye is also a dancer and singer. She has collaborated closely with the Elektro-Projekt Mo'Horizont and has released two solo albums (Denise M'Baye and Zwei).
