Lex Cie Schaefer

Lex Cie grew up in a small town in New England. An equestrian accomplished in side saddle, she spent the weekends fox hunting and competing in hunter/jumper shows and pace events. Acting since the tender age of eleven, she was invited to study with Marc Marno and Hedy Sontag at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute Los Angeles and soon thereafter became an active member in The Group, directed by Sontag. After appearing in The Lower Depths with The Group and several independent films in Los Angeles, she relocated to New Orleans to fulfill a passion project, Alouette: The Series. She has since worked in commercials, print, and then back to theater in Portland, ME with Cast Aside Productions. She is an accomplished and certified CranioSacral Therapist and continues to study the science of this modality with the Upledger Institute, sharing her gift for teaching as a TA.
