Harry Musselwhite is Creator and Executive Producer of the reality television series, "Horse People" currently in development.
Harry Musselwhite's screenplay "Martha Berry" was a finalist for Best
Feature Screenplay at the 2012 Charleston International Film Festival
and finalist for Best Georgia Screenplay in the 2011 Dixie Film
Festival in Athens, Georgia. "Martha Berry" was also a semi finalist
for The Kairos Prize for the "Most spiritually uplifting screenplay of
2008". He is Executive Director Emeritus of the Rome International Film Festival
(Rome, Georgia), and has been a juror or presenter for Santa Fe Film
Festival, Macon Film Festival, Taos Shorts, Roswell Film Festival, and Secret City Film Festival.
Musselwhite is the former Executive Director of The New Mexico Film Foundation.
Musselwhite's short film, "Der Greis" won a special jury award for outstanding film scoring in the 2012 Winter Shorts Film Festival and has been screened at The Albuquerque Film Festival, Macon Film Festival, Southern Appalachian Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival,and the Mountain Madness Film Festival. HIs second short film, "Next of Kin" has been screened at The Macon Film Festival, The Rome International Film Festival, and Atlanta's "Get Connected" Film event.
As a performer, he has sung with Santa Fe Opera, Augusta Opera, Chattanooga Opera, Asheville Opera, St. Louis Muny Opera, Kansas City Starlight Theatre, The Southeastern Savoyards, The Rome Symphony, Chattanooga Symphony, The Virtuosi of London (UK), and in recital in London, Bath, Wells, and throughout the United States. As a film/television actor, he has appeared on CBS Television's "Rescue 911", Michael Moncrief's "Tea in Hell" (The Mad Hatter), "Better Call Saul", and more. As a guitarist he has been a featured soloist twice at Carnegie Hall.
