A popular face in the live-streaming world, Stacey created and hosts the hit shows The Nerdy Bartender and Cooking with Stacey. She grew TNB from a YouTube how-to series, to a live talk-show, to a TV series on DrinkTV. Her cooking production is praised on Amazon Live for being one of the most professional and entertaining shows on the platform. On top of hosting, Stacey also consults for international companies on navigating the wild-west of live broadcasting with content creators.
Stacey was born in Banff, Alberta, to Teresa, who ran their wine-making store, and Kurtis Roy, a power linesman technician. Roy grew up all over Alberta. She was crowned Miss Teen Red Deer and Miss Teen Calgary. She graduated from Strathmore High School then moved to Vancouver to study "Acting in Film and Television" at Vancouver Film School.
Since graduating VFS, she has continued to work in all forms of media including film, television, and Internet. Stacey gained international notice when cosplaying as Blizzard Entertainment's "Tracer" in her short film Overwatch Legacy. She launched her own production company "Whabam Media" which focuses on live broadcasts and television series such as The Nerdy Bartender (2014/2018) and Cooking with Stacey (2017). She continues to host, act, produce and direct various shows both on television and online.
