Filip currently works as a screenwriter sharing his time between Beijing, Poland and New York.
Last feature Filip wrote was an Indian-Sri Lankan coproduction: MINEFIELD one of the finalists at the Goa Film Bazaar Market. Filip currently works on his two passion projects: ORDINARY ACTS OF BRAVERY with a support from the Polish Ministry of Culture and MAJA+THO & OTHERS (with a development grant from Polish Film Institute). At the same time Filip writes for hire in Beijing.
Filip teaches screenwriting at the Polish Film School in Lodz. Before, he worked as a teaching assistant at the Columbia University in New York. Filip also works as a script consultant and script doctor. So far Filip has participated in development of over fifty project, mainly in US.
Among many accomplishments, Filip is a Polish Ministry of Culture scholar (2014), Hollywood Foreign Press Association Fellow (2012, 2013) and a member of the Polish Filmmakers Association. He participated in numerous workshops and trainings, (TorinoFilmLab, Sources2, Berlinale Talents).
Filip graduated from the Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland. He earned MFA degree at the Columbia University in New York.
