Garfunkel & Oates are a Los Angeles, California-based comedic folk-rock duo consisting of Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel) and Kate Micucci (Oates). Lindhome and Micucci knew each other from several commercial auditions. They became best friends at a show featuring their mutual friend, comic Doug Benson at the Uptight Citizens Brigade theatre group in Los Angeles, and started writing songs together. Lindhome and Micucci released their first album "Music Songs" in 2009. This was followed by the subsequent albums "All Over Your Face" in 2011 and "Slippery When Moist" in 2012. Moreover, the pair not only have appeared together on various TV shows, but also perform live all over America on a regular basis.

Riki and Kate went to the same music camp in fifth grade, but didn&#39;t know each other at the time.
